Eotech 558 - EOTech Model 558 Holographic Weapon Sight

I would recommend the Eotech 558 holographic sight. I prefer this because it uses AA batteries that are available everywhere. Sometimes the CR123 batteries can be hard to find. An added feature of this sight is the ability to replace the stock battery cover with the optional single or duel laser battery cover. I opted for the duel battery cover that had 1 visible red laser and 1 IR laser the second laser is only useful if you have some type of night vision device. I intend a a later date to install a night vision device aft of the Eotech 558 to take full advantage of this sights capabilities. I would recommend calling Optics Planet on the phone to see if there are any special pricing programs in effect or soon to be in effect. The agent I spoke with on the phone was very knowledgable and had good info. I have purchased several items from Optics Planet over the years and have always had great service
