Most Helpful Positive Review vudu 3.5-18
very nice optic for the money. black friday sale plus an eotech rebate gave a deal i couldn't pass up. built like a tank, extremely clear glass. very happy so far. turrets are big and easy to use, very positive clicks, dead on zero stop. tracks just about perfect. about .1" high, but that could very well be me. only complaint i have is the retical. Its kinda thick and simple. however the simple aspect isn't a terrible deal. less cluttered for sure. wont be as easy to hold elevation and wind at the same time as some of the christmas tree style.

Good glass performance, but…

by Woll88, Verified Owner from AK, United States Written on August 2, 2023
Very good glass performance and overall build quality, but probably that’s it. Center dot on H59 reticle ridiculous small (like a whole reticle on low magnification) and very easy to loose once you point on target, unless you hit some chest targets. Another big problem it’s a lack of illumination. I feel I can see reticle illumination only once I close lens with a hand or shoot in a dusk condition. Another sings I don’t like that you can’t lock turrets from accidental moves, like on SB scopes. It dose have zero stop, for which you need unscrew cap and reset turret bucket.
Not a bad scope but not what I expect and not really work for me

Don't Sleep on This One

by Marv, from WY, United States Written on December 17, 2018
Wow. This scope was the farthest from consideration when deciding on what to put on a project budget bolt action rig. I initially wanted something that cost less, but offered a lot of capability. I happened to pick this up on sale and decided that if I didn't like I'd just return it. All reviews I came across were very positive, so I decided to take a chance sight unseen. All I can say is that I was quite surprised by what this scope had to offer. I've used a lot of well-known brands from Vortex to high end S&B scopes, and I will say that this optic is as good as many top tier brands I've come across to include Nightforce, Steiner, etc. This optic was manufactured in Japan (LOW) and it's oozes every bit of quality as any optic that come out of that factory. The glass is very clear and colors appear to be very vivid. Image sharpness is evident and doesn't seem to fall off at the edges as severely as some optics tend to do at high magnification, especially in mid-tier category. The turret spins are tactile and audible, and it tracks true. The MD1/MRAD target reticle is thick enough to not get lost in the thickets, yet not so heavy that it will obscure your targets. I think it's perfect., but would have like to have seen more reticle options available. Honestly, for the price you pay, this scope delivers in spades!
Pros:
  • Price
  • features
  • performance
  • high quailty
Cons:
  • New model, ? long term data
  • limited reticles
Best Used for:
  • hunting
  • Target shooting
  • benchrest
  • Tactical

This scope wasn't in my original list of considerations, but after ordering another and it was backordered for several months, one of the guys gave me a call and suggested this one.
This thing is nice. Very good glass. My buddy has a very nice Schmidt and Bender and he was very impressed with the quality compared to his.
Pros:
  • Quality
Cons:
  • Zoom not enough for extremely long range shooting
Best Used for:
  • 1000 yd plinker

Eo tech vudu 3 x 18 x 50 ffp rifle scope

by Red, from OR, United States Written on July 11, 2018
Dead on, extremely clear glass, mounted on an AR 15, shoots true, tracking in dead on, and a little on the heavy side! The only thing I really don't care for is the magnifying ring and reticle focus all move around, just like the nightforce nxs does. But for the price, I'd say it's the best in it's class!
Pros:
  • clear optics
Cons:
  • Heavy
Best Used for:
  • Tactical , hunting

Vudu 3.5 to 18 with HC1 reticle

by Suppressor, from PA, United States Written on March 28, 2018
Love this scope. I have many others including VX6 and ATACR and this is my favorite so far. Clear and not near as heavy as some. It sure fills the bill on my Fulton Arms FAR-15 predator. 1/4 inch groups all day with this combo.
Pros:
  • Clear to the edges, great low light scope.
Cons:
  • You have to remove caps to make windahe and elevation adjust
  • You have to remove caps to make windage and elevation adjustments
Best Used for:
  • Hunting and target plinking
