I disagree with the negative comments on eye relief and optic height. This has generous eye relief, better than a magnifier, identical to any top tier 3X scope. The height is 1.5", the minimum any AR optic should be. Plus, you can buy lower or higher mounts from ADM. Perfect package for any AR....

Incredible for targets
I've never had a smaller optic that was so easy to sight in and had such a great reticle and field of view.

Eotech Vudu 3-9
This is my first LPVO and I love it. Use it for tactical matches at my club and for multi gun matches on a DDM4 V7 with an offset red dot mounted on the receiver.
Pros:

The Perfect Optic For A Bullpup Rifle
When I purchased my ATI Bulldog 12 gauge shotgun, I knew I wanted an optic to enhance my shooting ability. During my research for the best optic, I came across the EoTech Vudu 3-9 with illuminated reticle. This would enhance any low light situation for a more accurate target accusation in the event of a night time hunt or home defense situation. The Bullpup is a short weapon platform and the EoTech Vudu is the correct optic to pair with the weapon, creating the perfect weapon system.

One thing I would want on this is a housing for a spare battery or 2 (Maybe in the sight adjuster cap covers) - OR - self charging batteries.
And a honeycomb overlap for lens flare & reflection deflection.
Besides that, Yo!!! it's Good to go up to 1,000 yards to it's limits.

EOTech Vudu
Upon first observation of the EOTech Vudu scope and red dot, I noticed that it feels well built and sturdy. I have not been able to mount it as of yet because the rifle that I am planning to mount it on is awaiting approval from the feds. I will be able to give a better review once I am able to mount it and put some range time in. The redical is crystal clear, and the red dot is also. It's a little pricey, but it may be a solid option.

mount capability misstated
WARNING - Does not actually fit mini Acog mounts, Midwest Industries and Larue both tried and No-Go. After speaking w/ Eotech directly, the recommendation was 'Try ADM'. Maybe the 3rd $100+ purchase will accomplish their claim.
Eye relief is not much better than an Acog at full magnification but it is a novel approach for an optic and good weight/size.

top scope for all ranges
This has been one of the best optics, I can cover long range as well CQB ranges with not even thinking or moving cheek wells. Very clear glass, fast shipping from Optics planet

VUDU 3-9 Scope
The glass is very clear with no notable distortion at any magnification. The reticle is sharp and well defined and the brightness adjustments are sufficient for any level of ambient light. The only shortcoming of this scope is its short eye relief. It is unsuitable for any rifle except an AR type rifle with an adjustable butt. I tried using it on a Christensen Arms MPRR (Rimfire) with a folding adjustable stick, and even at its shortest adjustment, the eye relief was too short for greater than 7X magnification.
