Review of Galco Classic Lite Shoulder Holster

excellent product. Very light weight and compact system. It is perfect for small frame handguns. It fits my Glock 43 perfectly. It is very well constructed, with plenty of room for adjustments. This rig is very light weight, slim and trim, if thats what your looking for, it works great. it does benefit the system if you have the Galco tie down snap adjustment piece that attaches to the magazine pouch.

Retired Police Officer w/ccw

Leather is good and pretty well made. The only problem encountered was that when it arrived it no screws to keep leather from sliding through the buckles. Got email stating they were in route. This should take care of the slide problem.

Best holster yet

This is the best holster I have ever owned at the most reasonable price! Highly suggested to anyone in the market for a shoulder rig. I read a few comments about back aches and the leather not doing well when exposed to moisture. I haven't had a single problem out of mine and if something happens to it, I'll be buying another. �

I can stop looking now.

I have a trunk full of holsters Cheap to expensive, and there was always something that just didn't suit. I think I can stop shopping now. This is the most comfortable I've been in a while. It's cooler, causes no discomfort or pain. Yes it is slower to draw, and you have the problem of sweeping your arm or folks behind or beside you, but I'm not a cop or gunslinger. I carry so that if necessary I can be the last resort in a bad situation. I can live with these 2 negatives, now that I can carry concealed every day and not hurt. Thanks for a great product.

Fast delivery and well made product

Purchased this for my G43 and my G42 fits fine. Followed the instructions to set up the rig on the Galco website. Very easy even by myself. Tried to fit the G26/7 and the fit is too tight, can't even get the gun in the holster. The mag pouch will only fit the smaller single stack magazines. I have to wear a fairly fitted shirt because the leather is very gripy and if I adjust the harness with out lifting it off the shirt it will bunch up at the neck. Not a fault of the product, just need to wear non-cotton and fitted shirts. This conceals really well under a baggy t-shirt. Comfort is perfect, nice alternative to the King-Tuk I normally use.

Galco Classic Light SS

This is "light" as the name implies. It is soft suede and not rigid as other Galco shoulder holsters are. It works well for a small carry gun under a jacket. It does require Galco tie downs to be usable. Without them it would be difficult to draw the weapon. In my opinion they should be included with the holster. It would also be nice if the spare mag carrier was in the horizontal position like the Miami Classic II. As it is, when the snap is opened for the spare mag you run the risk of it falling to the ground. Overall, it is pretty good and I will use it.

Galco Miami Classic Lite

Comfortable, lightweight,easy to adjust. Must take a couple days to allow pistol to shape into holster, not uncommon for leather. Suggest wrap pistol in sandwich bag for easy initial fit. Very happy have 2,for XDS and snubbie.

comfortable, but not for me

I really liked it when i got it in and it was very comfortable. It also fit my XDS 4.0 very nicely. But i have a large chest and when i wear it up in a high position so that it doesn't flop around it causes the butt of my pistol to stick out away from my body. I wore it everyday trying to get it to break in and hopefully lay flat enough to be able to wear under a button up shirt without it making me look a foot wider than i am, so at the end i felt the need to just return it.

  • not for larger guys
