Fantastic upgrade
Geiselle did it again. I was skeptical at first due to cost. But after some research pulled the trigger and purchased the H3 kit. This is an instant upgrade, it improves the recoil impulse. It also eliminates the dreaded AR “twang.” Running in a 10.5” pistol it has been very reliable. (Only 300 rounds so far due to ammo shortage)

best for suppressed
This is my second H2 with buffer spring. I shoot exclusively suppressed these and this system smooths out any remaining recoil. I love it.

Geissele makes one of the best quality parts on the market. Highly recommend this buffer setup. If you’ve never tried their triggers you’re doing it wrong. Haven’t had a single issue with any G$ products.

H2 in 11.5 Colt
I tried the H2 version in my 11.5 colt suppressed and unsuppressed. It functioned correctly at 40° but I have not tested below 0° yet. Ammo used was lake city 5.56. overall the experience is an upgrade due to smoother cycling spring. This is not recommended if you are using low power ammo.

Great upgrade
So at the time I was upgrading a budget build and put a FA BCG in my AR. I was getting light primer strikes every other mag and the only thing I could think of besides the ammo which was hornady frontier was the buffer weight. Wow just wow….. I’ve had it now for 3 years not a single jam or light primer strike and just like other reviews it got rid of the noisy twang spring sound. Which is crazy since it’s not a springless system. Geissle is officially my favorite I have their triggers, buffers and charging handles. Especially for the money going against the JP silent series this system is excellent. For those who care I got the H2 buffer running on a carbine gas system 16 inch AR15.

have a gassy AR15/AR10? this will help
i first installed the spring and buffer coming from a reduced-weight buffer. Sadly, the riflespeed gas block was not getting help from the reduced-weight buffer, and I was looking at a complete gas block change...AGAIN! I thought about it and said Let's go back to the old style spring and buffer, but a heavier spring and buffer. It worked, and this thing saved me a ton of rework

super 42 spring and H3
These are my favorite buffer springs paired with H3s. Especially if you’re running suppressed. There’s no annoying buffer spring “twang” plus it’s a braided spring so it’ll last much longer than a standard buffer spring. It also fixes some of the swell time issues that happen when running suppressed especially on shorter guns that beat themselves up.
