Most Helpful Positive Review micro carry comp
Awesome little carry comp. great size and weight. Hardly sticks out of my holster. I think it’s a great product at a great price. And it’s hard to find muzzle devices in a 13.5x1m thread pitch. would definitely suggest to someone else.

Threaded perfectly, doesn’t add to length enough to care. Looks great! Ready to try it out!

Good compensator

by Mike Cav, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on December 21, 2024
Note that you should have a 16mm wrench to install and remove this. It has flat sides to align with the wrench. Took me some googling to find this answer.

Worked good on a 229 Legion

by Rob, Verified Owner from NV, United States Written on October 4, 2024
This definitely takes off some recoil and if you have a threaded barrel its better than a thread cap. It does get hot so I recumbent an OWB holster if you are going to carry it. Something else to consider, I had to cut open the bottom of my Bladetech holster so it would fit.
Pros:
  • light
  • Small
  • Recoil Reduction
Cons:
  • long for some applications

Great left hand thread micro comp

by AndyMan, Verified Owner from WI, United States Written on September 29, 2024
One of the very few left hand threaded 9mm micro compensators out there that dont add too much weight or bulk. Does the job well, made a noticeable difference in reducing muzzle rise.

Good Mini Comp

by Rob, Verified Owner from NV, United States Written on September 13, 2024
I use this on a Sig 229 and it works well. Not an extreme difference in recoil but it does enough to be worth it. If you have a treaded barrel its better than a thread cap for when not using a suppressor. I had to alter my Blade Tech holster for this to fit through the bottom and it can get hot sticking out of the holster (better for OWB).
Pros:
  • light
  • reduced recoil
  • protects threads
Cons:
  • Gets hot
Best Used for:
  • rapid fire
  • Thread protector

Well made product

by Danny, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on June 2, 2024
The Griffen micro compensator is a quality product/ helps to reduce the snap on smaller 4” barrels. The left handed thread is not a common find / this help greatly.

Griffin Micro Comp 1000 round review.

by Ryan Bowers, Verified Owner from NH, United States Written on December 23, 2022
Great comp, I’ve been running it on my Glock 19 for a while now and it’s definitely making a difference with my recoil control. I find myself shooting faster with increased accuracy. I had absolutely 0 malfunctions with this comp installed and I’ve ran various ammo types such as magtech, blazer, Tula, federal, and etc. comp adds no noticeable weight and doesn’t come loose whatsoever when firing. 5/5 stars. Can’t go wrong for $65.
Pros:
  • fits in holster
  • Minimal
  • Lightweight & affordable
Cons:
  • None for me
Best Used for:
  • carry and combat

Works better than expected

by Blake W., Verified Owner from WI, United States Written on August 15, 2022
I genuinely thought this wasn't going to be a very good for the price. It's honestly one of the best comps i've ever used. You can't really beat this for the price. I would highly recommend anyone to try one.

Works Great and doesn't need recoil spring change

by ThatGuy, Verified Owner from MO, United States Written on October 25, 2021
While this might not give you absolute compensation like some others in the market...it does make it easy to do a couple of things:

1) As long as your holster is cut for a threaded barrel...this will fit it. I was chasing holsters compatibility with other ones but not with this one.

2) It doesn't require you to change out springs so saving you further dollars.

3) Compensation works...it is not as crazy as some others but it does a good job keeping you on target...especially with a red dot gun.
