I now have 4 of these and they function great as a muzzle brake and a sacrificial baffle on my suppressor. It also looks great on the rifle. Clocking them takes a few minutes and several tries but it's worth the effort.

I purchased this for my REECE7 suppressor to use on my 5.56 rifle.
Um only complaint is, shipping via DHL, sucks. Please don’t use DHL LOL. My product sat in two different places for over 24hrs each then transferred to USPS.
They are slower than regular USPS. ♂️

We have these brakes on several rifles, and they are fantastic for mounting suppressors to. The taper ensures the can has tight lockup every time, ensures concentricity, and does so with less threading than other mounting styles. The brakes do come with a shim kit but they /do not/ come with thread protectors.

I have this mounted on my recent DMR build and i'll say this make it shoot FLAT. Even though a 5.56 rifle barely has any recoil, this really makes it non existent. Whats good about this is if I want to shoot next to a buddy, the taper mount allows for a blast device so that I won't be thumping him with recoil. But that really speaks to the effectiveness of the recoil. Love this thing, it's super affordable, and isn't a super long.
Pros:
- Affordable
- effective
- Modular
Best Used for:
- plinking
- Everyday shooting

I have one of these mounted on my .308 Bolt action rifle. I really like how much it dissipates the recoil and isn't a super expensive brake. I also like it because if I ever go down to my brother's place I can shoot with his suppressor when we go out to the range together. Although this doesn't come with a thread protector, it's not a big deal. The thread protectors are about 25 bucks and since i'm not doing anything crazy with it they should be fine.
Best Used for:
- hunting
- competition
- General plinking and varmint shooting h

This muzzle brake reduced the recoil on my Browning .300 WinMag about 70%. I cant wait to get my surpressor. The wait from the day of purchase feels like an eternity. I also use the same brake on my 8" 300 Blackout suppressed and unsupressed. I will be purchasing 2 more.

I bought this brake (and accompanying thread protector; UPC 791154082287) for my new Seekins Havak Bravo 6.5 Creedmoor. Similar to my other Griffin taper mount devices, this dialed up perfectly with use of the included shims. The brake has flats on the top and bottom to provide for a convenient wrenching surface. Not only does this provide function for Griffin's taper mount suppressors (I use the Griffin Recce 7); but it also serves as a very effective brake without the suppressor. 10/10 recommend Griffin Armament products!
Pros:
- price (very affordable)
- Effective at reducing recoil
- Easy instal , hardware included
Best Used for:
- Suppressed Guns
- Rifle application

I purchased this break for my Griffin 300 blackout. I needed a more compact break to work with my silencers and the Griffin Plan A suppressor taper mount adapter. The combo works perfectly. The high quality is evident by the look and feel. I highly recommend Griffin Armament!!
