Set out to build an AR10 from scratch, needed a handguard (made in USA) so I choose Guntec. I mounted several items: angled foregrip (with cloth tape tediously weaved in and out of the windows), laser, light. switches to the mlok slots (I spent a good deal of time getting it just right for me and it looked great), then went to mount stuff on the top picatinny rail and found the slot depth to be undersize by .024 inch min. and interfering with the recoil lugs on my BUIS and other items. Contacted GT, they sent a return shipping label. They sent a replacement. Same Issue, exchanged another and the third one has same defect. To their credit, they tried to appease me, but to keep sending handguards with picatinny rails that are out of specification (the handguards look real nice) doesn't work for me. I ordered an Odin, that should work. gave them an extra star for trying. I'm out over a hundred bucks but the handguard makes a nice paperweight in the circular file.
