Hera arms cqr
Overall this buttstock is the same as its ar15 counter part. They made the big brother in the ar10 and it looks great. One downside i had was i had to custom fit mine to my billet receiver. Not to crazy but i had to cut some plastic inside the stock just above the curve of the grip. But hey after 15...

Does not fit
I purchased this stock for my 308 and yes I made sure it was for an AR10 and it does not sit flush behind the grip mount and the stock seemed it was cheaply put together . For example the 2 halves of the main body do not match up properly and slightly warped
HERA arms buttstocks
I'm very happy with the three stocks I have received. I did have one stock that was sent with out the parts. After contacting optics they were able to get the missing parts sent out quickly. The stocks have performed perfectly.

I checked the reviews before l ordered this budd stock , it's looks good and l ordered 5 sets of it , 3 AR10 and 2 AR 15 , AR 15 and AR10 black color is back order and l cancelled both today , try to installed the AR 10 ODG it's doesn't fit at all , l even took it to the gun store down a block from my house , have the gun smith take a look at it , he said it won't work , told me to return it if l can ! I'm so disappointed may be this stock only work with HERA Arms , it's doesn't work with AERO PRECISION M5 !

Does any one know which lowers are compatible?
Does not fit correct has gap between the lower and stock not sure which lowers work all I know is it does not work with PSA or a right to bear.

May not fit but nice stock if it does
If you have a real DPMS from the old days, this will fit perfectly. The problem is that there are too many clones of 308 receivers running around that do not have the same contours as the original DPMS. They work for DPMS style builds because the “important” dimensions are correct for location of trigger pins and so on but the external cosmetic dimensions are out of spec. If you use just about any other stock that just mounts to the buffer tube and doesn’t follow the contour of the lower, you would never realize it. But to be truthful, these stocks are not the issue and you shouldn’t be rating them poorly for not fitting. If this doesn’t fit, don’t take it out on the review of the stock. Take it out on the review of the receiver. The receiver is the part that’s screwed up and out of spec from the original DPMS design.

Doesn't line up and the two halves broke trying to get it to seat, i should have read other reviews and yes i tried to fit it to an aero precision m5........................................................
