I am partially blind..can only see partially with one eye. These HME Trail Marking Tacks WORK. I use White tacks alot on my large family farm to and from Game stands. At night if you hit them with white light it looks like a hot LZ! Even I can see them and I use mostly green headlamps and green flashlights. Loss of vision sucks and so does being Lost. I use the Orange Version Trail Marking Tacks when I go out of state to hunt on Federal or State WMA types and always retrieve them on way out so I do not let others know the the location of my honey hole plus to avoid getting a ticket from the Woods cops. The reason for the orange version is that many hunters use them but mostly white and if left there can cause confusion.
Pros:
- Just takes one quick flick of a flashlight to know where you are at.
- The tack is old fashioned and not a GPS but it is a trail marker by day and hot LZ of lights at night.
Cons:
- They eventually will rust so buy plenty.
Best Used for:
- Going to and from and thru hunting area.
