Ruger Redhawk .44 Mag round butt
I have a Ruger Redhawk Kodiak Backpacker 2-3/4" barrel. It is my camping, hiking, and fishing in grizzly country gun but it can be punishing with full-on grizzly ammunition in it. This grip helps with recoil but more importantly it helps me get the barrel back down faster for a follow-up shot. If you have either of the two Redhawks with round butts, the 2-3/4" or the 4", I recommend this grip.
Perfect fit but...
These grips fit my Ruger Redhawk perfectly! But, installation was a bit troublesome, since they can't be split into two halves. The only way was to shimmy them up the entire metal grip frame of the revolver. I did what the instructions suggested, and I added a drop of gun oil onto the corner of the metal frame. That oil made things go in a bit easier. Now, my revolver feels robust and ready to tame the recoil of the .44 magnum caliber! (The description said that these grips were for a 'round butt', but my Ruger Redhawk is kind of square-ish butt and these fit fine.)

Redhawks grip
Great improvement over the stock grip. Hogue quality as always. Probably my 10th set of Hogue grips and all are great. Also about the only choice for the round butt Redhawk.

This is the correct grip #86020 that will fit the Redhawk with the round butt.
I own the 45acp/45 Colt model #5032 and the wood grips are beautiful but often times with +p+ Colt loads it can be a handful with the narrow factory grips. These grips fit well and install and are easy to remove when you want to put the factory ones back on. Just use WD-40 in both instances.

The only thing other than factory out there
Went on easy enough, use the window cleaner as lubricant. Excellent fit in this application. Ruger Redhawk Mdl. # 5032 or the newer model w/ sleeved barrel #5050 should fit the same. Liked the look of factory grips but not not enough to hold on to when shooting heavy 45 Colt.

Great Product
I have lager hands and this grip fills my hand better than the stock grips. Although not as much as I was hoping for but that's probably due to this gun being a round butt. They are easy to install and feel great in the hand.
