Bought this cause I'm cheap and the features sounded great on paper. Didn't even install. As soon as I turned it on, I was instantly disappointed. The dot was blurry and had a spiderweb like effect coming off the dot. I looked all over the glass and it was completely clean. Same for the glass directly in front of the laser. The packaging and product box had no signs of any damage or mishandling. I sent this back and coughed up the money to get a Trijicon RMR instead. Much happier! You get what you pay for.

Really enjoy this sight! Very glad I went with this for my Glock 17 build. The shake awake is one of the best features no need to turn it on or off. Also enjoy the backup of the solar charging. Overall would highly recommend this sight.

Package arrived quickly, boxing and presentation was very good, the info/manual that came with device was brief and easy to fallow. ( would have liked a little more in this area ) The dot itself came flawless, all spares were present. Two sets of mounting screws came with it, however they were both too large and I had to use my own smaller ones. Glass is impressively clear and no noticeable glare or reflection issues. Housing feels strong and durable as you’d expect from Holosun. Only been able to take it out a couple times so far, but as of right now no issues ( I will update if any arise as it gets more mileage)

Well I read all the reviews and the sight seemed like a no brainer.
Seems to be very well built and fits well on my Ruger Mk4 22/45.
Why not 5 stars? #1..Shake Awake...how the optic fires on is literally SHAKE. If you just draw the pistol it does not come on. You must give it a SHAKE. #2...The dot in the ads is crisp. Unfortunately the example I received the dot has some flares to it. I have other red dots that cost less and are nice and crisp!! So I am disappointed and can not recommend this optic.

I find it to be highly accurate and easy to use, I have another sight that cost twice as much and really can’t tell the difference. The other sight is also on a Glock 19 gen 5 so I’m comparing apples to apples.

This is a great little site. It reacts quickly to changes in light so it is bright in all conditions. Adjustments are simple and sound. It's probably a bit out of the norm but I mounted this on my 300 win mag for moose shots under 200 yd. I actually like this better than my $500 trijicon

Great site. Love the green dot. Do not think the circle dot is necessary. Solar is cool. Should come with flat plate option instead of picatinny mount. My 1911 loves it. Price from Optics planet was great as well as fast shipping.

I installed the HS407c to my Glock 17 mos and went to the range last week. I fired approximately 100 rds when i noticed the red dot starts to flicker during recoil. I kept shooting to about 150 rounds when it started to power off by itself. I shot about 30 more rounds after that and the problem repeated 2 more times. I’ve been trying to contact holosun with no luck. I think their computer crashed.

I purchased this on sale. When I received it, I examined it and noticed that the edges on the glass looked like it was cracked. At the bottom of the glass, it looked like it had glue residue. I still put it on because it was my first red dot ever, so I was stoked. When racking the slide, it would turn off and figured it might be the settings. However, that wasn’t the case. I read the user manual and there wasn’t much to mess with other than the brightness. I took it to the range about a week later. After every shot and in some cases, every other shot, the dot would go off and I’d have to turn it back on. It got annoying so I took it off for the remainder of my time there. I reached out to customer service and the dude seemed like he did t care much he just gave me the process on a refund which, on their sight is a 30 guarantee so that’s a plus. I’ve sent it out and just waiting on that. I wanted to get an exchange but I had a bad first experience and would rather buy in person at a gun store. That’s just my experience. From other reviews I see satisfied customers, with that being said. The order arrived in time, didn’t look too used and would have loved to keep it.

Excellent green dot have 2 now zeros easy makes old eyes new again both on glocks 45 and 10 mm hitting beer cans at 100 yds mounted the rifle size on the 10 mm and the 407c on the 45 acp the 510 c has a huge window and massive field of view like them better than the burrris fast fire 3 shake awake is a no brainer
