This product is simply poorly designed and built. The light source is weak, the electrical connections are maintained by a cardboard tube wrapped in foil inside the tube. Hoppe's #9 bore light

The bore light delivered was a Hoppe's #9, but not the one pictured. But it works well and the color isn't that important to me.

Backorder then not fully functional

Item on back order for months, then when it arrives, item not as depicted in site images and has problems with function. Styling was actually good but I cannot get past the problems the light had staying lit once the power button was activated. Batteries seemed a bit loose inside which, in turn, causes light to go out when the light is moved. Too bad. Again, the styling is much slimmer than depicted, so would be a plus if the light actually was made robust enough to work properly.

Great bore light for your money!

I purchased this bore light for my 5.56 and 22 caliber rifles and I am very pleased. It fits in the bore perfectly! It also Illuminates it very well. If you want to see if your barrel is completely clean buy this light.
Pros: Perfect for a 22 caliber barrel
Cons: It could be cheaper :)
