I bought this hoping for precision and fine tuning of hand loads but I was not impressed at all there is run off of at least one thousand which isn’t much better than factory so if I could return it I would. If I could do it again I would buy one of those table top mini lathes from on line for $500 if your looking for very consistent measurements this is not the reloading tool for you
Cons:
- Not consistent or accurate

I got the part in relatively decent time but the neck turning part number 3. The silver part starts wiggling like its outer round in the beginning but then I find out the backpark number 5 the shell holder spindle if we don't. Have your shell in perfectly?
I'm lined it up in the neck turning body.
It will wobble like it's out around so I got that down finally. You have to really put in New York casing really straight in the spindle so to keep it from wobbling but the problem is the shell holder spindle. Goes through a piece of casting the is not very straight and the whole thing has a wobble to it so it's not very precise if they would have. Put a bearing in each end so you would slide through into a perfect bearing fit. It wouldn't rock.
So I don't know how precise this is going to be when I go ahead and really shoot.
It might work out OK but it might be awful half a 1000 2000s trying to make it round. It's not like putting it in a lave if they would put a bearing in the shell holders spindle side.
It would be a much better tool.
Pros:
- I hope it makes my brass straighter.
Cons:
- The crashman ship of the park is not made very well in the spindle holder it needs bearings.

I have reloaded rifle cartridges for over 30 years and never really thought i needed to turn the necks. This will really show you how inconsistent factory necks can be. I cant wait to see how it makes a difference at long range.

With little set up time and some practice I was able to turn really nice looking brass with necks that are smooth. If you are considering neck turning, this is the one to buy. I did find it easier to use after taking the spring off. Might be something to try if you decide to purchase.
Pros:
- easier to use than a hand held neck turner

Excellent tool for precision ammo making. Slightly improved groups.Tool is well made and precise. Easy to use.Conrols tension on bullet for group reduction. Good companion to Hornady trimmer. By varying bullet tension groups can be improved.

I purchased this Lock n Load Neck turn tool for my 6.5 Creed Brass. Seemed to work much better than the Lyman Turning tool. It is fairly easy to adjust. The only thing I would like to see is a set screw for locking the Mandrel, it would make the adjustment easier. Other than that it worked well. Have turned about 500 pcs of brass between my 6.5 Creed, 308 and 30-06

Solid, heavy-based tool. Thought I'd have to mount this to a bench or at least a block of wood but you don't. Only trimmed a few pieces so far but it's doing everything I expected it to do.
Cutter/pilot settings easy to set up. Produces repeatable results.
You have to experiment a bit to get the process down right. Specifically with the neck size and it's fit on the pilot. I think you'll get he same results regardless if the case neck/pilot dimensions are exact, or if you have some slight play in them. If too loose, a sizing die would take out excessive play. Also suggest that inside the neck is clean before you attempt to trim.
I practiced with some shot AR brass. If the neck is dinged up, don't expect this tool to clean up the dings. Not what it's designed to do.
Read all of the instructions first, and there are some helpful videos on YouTube. Great tool that won't break the bank. Heavy
Pros:
- easy to use
- Heavyweight base
