The safe is well made, heavy duty, and makes a decent addition to your nightstand. I love having a clock by my bed again. While it might look like a clock radio from the 80's, I don't mind it. Having additional charging ports is awesome as well. Only wish they had a USBC port along with the USB ports. My only small complaint actually is with the bracelet and not the safe. I ordered the rubber bracelet so that I always had a key with me whenever and wherever, but the RFID chip is actually located near the buckle, not the metal logo, which makes putting the inside of my wrist on the sensor really awkward. I wish it were on the outside near the metal logo tag. However, my reader is sensitive enough to allow it to open from a little less than an inch away, so it still works. It will just take some practice.

I recommend this to anyone who wants to have your firearm securely stored yet readily accessible. For me, having the clock is just an added luxury that I really appreciate. It was worth the price.

Easy to program and set up. I put it on my bed side night stand nook and looks like a regular digital clock. Fits my Glock 17 and 2 clips. I like the option to bolt down or use cable to secure it. The fob options are great for quick access. I struggled to set up combo but not the instructions or safe's fault....

The Hornady Rapid Safe Nigh Guard is a welcome addition to my ability to mount a credible home defense. Sitting on my night stand, it's a quick convenient way to access my 9mm Glock should an intruder be detected entering my home. Having the RFID access tag on the band of my smart watch provides quick access to my firearm. This capability, In addition to the fact that my bedroom has a reinforced, solid care door with a deadbolt provides a secure space from which I can wait until the police arrive and defend myself if I need to. My only reason for not giving this product a 5 star rating is that I think a determined thief could with the right tools cut the cable securing the safe or forcibly defeat the locking mechanism. Since I'm licensed to conceal carry, my weapon would not be at risk of being stolen when I'm not home.

Well made. The only complaint I have is that the instructions to set it up need to be redone so they can be easier to find, understood, and pictures with instructions would be even better.

It looks like a clock sitting on my bedside table. I leave my phone on top and charging thanks to the usb charging ports. Quick to get into with the included rfid tag for my watch band. I have it on a battery backup so it always works.

Great features for storing and providing quick access to a firearm. However the clock runs slow. Would expect better performance for a simple function.

The safe part and access are fantastic- and the box is built like a tank. I like the features.

The digital clock (kinda hard to screw that up) gains about 2 minutes each week, which is annoying. Still worth the money.

Love the ease of RFID tag access, easy to program and set up.! Looks just like an old clock radio that know one would want to steal. Fits my full sized handgun as well as slim holster and spare mag. Hornady supplied all things needed to get started. 4 FRIDs, security cable, and keys. Great Value!!
