Does not support 45 degree short throw
It is very hard to tell in the pictures but it does NOT support 45 degree short throw safety selection....only 90 degree like mil spec.
I wish they would have written that in their description. Other than that it looks like nice quality, but I did not install it on my AR

Scratches the surface and uncomfy for lefties
So you have to tighten the screw very carefully to get the right "tightness", too tight and it will scratch the receiver and too loose the right switch will slip.

Great! Now offer it in 45*.
I got this as part of the JP cassette trigger kit. By itself, it’s not worth $70. Paired along with the JP trigger? It’s a “matched” set. It has a special groove cut to match the JP trigger, making it solid when you pull the trigger with the safety on, it’s literally engaged.
If I was to guess, theres not a 45* option available because it’s very easy to manipulate compared to others.

A really good ambi safety
for all the left-handed people out there, this is a really good option. I have one of these on two different rifles now.

If you know what your doing
Jp safety is fricken awsome anyone that doesn't give it a 4 or 5 star rating is not very experienced with adult legos! I have 3 of their safety levers one being the component system trigger and safety that doesn't require the extra screws to set the tension just right. How couldn't you like being able to adjust this to your personal preference! Amateurs.

Ok Ambidextrous Saftey
I bought this product hoping for a easier ambidextrous saftey that can be used with gloves. It switches nicely. The only problem is the ambidextrous part is too big and interferes with my shooting hand. Needs to be a little shorter. You can make it non-ambidextrous really easy; That is now how I have it running.

Safe Safety
A well machined safety lever that allows for ambidextrous control. More importantly, it has adjusting screws to allow for precision matching to the trigger mechanism guaranteeing for a perfectly securing safety lock. It solved a problem with my trigger mechanism releasing and firing while in the safety position.

Left handed
Works great for me. Other lever use to rub my shooting finger, used short one on that side. No rubbing on receiver for me, fit is all good. Rock river receiver, mil-spec. Have a few JP products and like them all.
