I thought I was getting a DOUBLE-edged knife. This one is only a single edged version. Apparently earlier versions were double-edged. Cheap way to save production costs. I have not used it yet, so cannot say much about other qualities or lack thereof this knife may have. I am simply disappointed in it not being a double-edged blade since I typed a search for only double-edged knives as I recall.
