The Kinetic Sidelok MRO Mount is excellent for quick exchange between my different PCCs. Very reliable and does not lose zero.

- quick change

I really wanted to like this mount as it came with my MRO from OP. However, the mount did not come with installation instructions or provide tolerances for screws (i.e torch in Inch pounds). The mount required the user to take it apart without a diagram that caused me to spill screws and springs out without having a diagram to follow for assembly. This is poor planning from KDG. I did get it together and installed. But, using 15 to 18 inch/pounds of torch, I rounded out the Allen heads on two screws that came with the kit. Poor planning with no directions or diagram and soft screws. This is a NoGo, do not buy. Trijicon should not sell their superior products with KDG as a package as it is not good for their image. Yes on Trijicon, No on KDG.
Pros:
- reasonably priced for QD mount
- Materials used of good quality
Cons:
- No instructions or diagram
- Soft screws
- Too complex system
Best Used for:
- Someone familiar with KDG, not new user

I purchased the Trijicon MRO 2.0 with Kinetic Development Group ‘SIDELOCK’ 1/3 lower mount & combined it with my Daniels Defence V7 SLW for on duty use in law enforcement. The combined total dry weight is right at 6lbs making it an incredibly lightweight, sleek / smooth, durable piece of equipment for a boy in BLUE. The large aperture makes for easy target acquisition with any lighting conditions and the hard-anodized, forged, fully sealed housing is fully capable of riding around in a cruiser or slinging on a search team. The Kinetic Development Group mount is an excellent product to complete the combo. Incredible light & easy to use. Easy mount / dismount, but never by accident the release system. We should all buy quality products because someday life could depend on it! I definitely recommend this combo purchase from Optics Planet & will be a regular customer. J
Pros:
- Quality manufacture , precise fit
- Durability and dependability
- eas of use, appearance

So the site is nice good visibility but what does any of that matter when after a few magazines the site starts to wobble and shake like it’s had enough.
It’s too late to return or exchange So I’m out 500.00. Going to purchase the EO TECH site.
Expensive and not up to par.

Smooth edges and great construction. I did not seek out this mount, it was included with the MRO. After watching the video on it and looking at other mounts it was obvious that this was the best option. No complaints yet.
Pros:
- Easy to put on and take off
- well constructed and light weight

As others have noted the mount is able to “move” around while in the rifle. It does appear to be limited to forward and backward movement - not side to side. I do not believe it would affect POI. I just don’t like a mount that lets the optic slip around or “wiggle”. Back to Daniel Defense mounts for me

This is a great mount that I put on my AR. Honestly it is pretty self explanatory and doesn’t need instructions for instal. No wobble at all and I’m very happy with my purchase. The one thing that separates this from other mounts like the Midwest industries throw lever mounts,is that it’s more affordable and instead of a throw lever it’s a button in the front of the mount. There was a problem as far as shipping but that was resolved and my optic and this mount ended up being shipped at the same time as it was intended to.
Pros:
- No wobble
- Easy Insallation
- Afforable, great quality
- Good Quality well made

I'm running MRO's on several platforms (Daniel Defense, CMMG, Maxim Defense) and this mount works great on a mil spec 1913 picatinny rail system. It's easy to mount the MRO to the Sidelok with Youtube videos available if you prefer a tutorial before you get started with assembly. Once assembled the mount locks onto the rail tightly and the rail key underneath prevents the mount from sliding back and forth. Sidelok removes easily for transport to and from the range. My MRO is mounted on the same rail space consistently and I've not experienced any shift in zero before, during, or after my shoot. Word must be out on this slick product because I'm currently awaiting my second MRO Sidelok (backorder) to round out another home defense product. Great product, reasonably priced when paired with the optic, worth the wait, highly recommended for use with the 1913 rail, and is so easy to use I have to have another.
Pros:
- easy assembly
- quick release
- return to zero
- resonably priced
- Firm lock

None of the lock up problems exist for this mount on my Ruger AR-556. Maybe others with issues don't have a spec rail so don't let those comments dissuade you from this great product. Very light, easy to set up, sturdy and repeatable zero make me glad I included this with my MRO, which I also like quite a bit.
