This is the real deal that the U.S. military uses. According to my son, this is the rail system his M16 had. So it's perfect for that military rifle build. In addition to being the real deal, it's also the best rail system I've ever had. Follow the instructions and it installs smooth and easy, and is the most solid rail fore stock I've seen. No flimsy rail for bipod, my bipod is solid as a rock. Comes with plenty of covers for the unused areas. Installs easy, solid mount for my flash light and forgrip. Give my ar the classic m16a4 look i was going for to bring back that nostalgia. Wanted to build a rifle that was as close to my servie weapon as possible and this did not disappoint since it was the exact same as the rails that came in my a4. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a solid set up.

Great Drop-in

Fantastic drop-in rail system. Use it on my M4 Dissipator. I prefer the fixed front site, so this allows me to use it and use whatever addons I prefer. It does add a bit of weight, but thats what I was looking for to minimize recoil impulse. Buying another one for an M16A4 clone. If you want something that is rugged AF, this is the product for you.
