As a serious “return to zero” 1913 rail, the La Rue is extremely well-engineered. It even comes with a specialty wrench to adjust the bolts.
The one thing that isn’t covered in the Optics Planet description is how tall this item actually is. I think La Rue’s description has this as 5/8” tall. If you’re using this for an optic, you might want to do some measurements first.

First, the locking levers lock to the rear. When locked, the locking lever is too close to the charging handle on an AR. Moving the mount further ahead makes eye relief difficult.
Second, the top Picatinny rail was too wide for my thermal scope. The sides of the rail edges are wider than the Picatinny rail on the AR.

Exactly what I was looking for in order to quickly swap optics. Excellent build quality and locking system. I feel like I got a pretty good deal too when it was on sale.

If you need a QD that holds zero on any optic that can adjust to about any rail, this is what you need.

I bought this to raise my scope rings on a chassis 10/22 build for NRL22. I've used LaRue mounts on my tactical guns before and couldn't be happier. This mount worked even better than I had expected and I can remove and remount my scope without worrying about having to rezero the rifle.

I wanted to add QD to a set of MOA adjustable rings and this works out great, I did need quite a lift for the cheek piece, but the stock was accommodating. First impression was that it was butter smooth and rock solid.

Purchased this riser for a eotech xps and g43 magnifier. Prefect amount of height and QD levers are super smooth. Mounted riser backwards to prevent QD levers from snagging. Comes with a box ended wrench to adjust lever tightness. LaRue really thought of everything. Perfect solution to move my optic setup around!
