Every LaRue barrel I have had is a hammer. The only barrels better for me are custom cut rifled barrels from Proof/Bartlein/Etc.

Not bad for the price

For the price on OP this barrel is pretty hard to beat, in a BCM reciever with a no-name handguard and BCG I am shooting groups at or just under an inch with several factory loads. Profile is just right for my use, a little on the heavy side but not in HBAR territory. Gas port is quite large though, had to tune it down with an adjustable gas block.

  • Precision AR running an adjustable gas block
