Most Helpful Positive Review Great Scope For CMP Svc Rifle!
I would expect nothing less from Leupold. The build quality is superb, The scope tracks perfect, the glass is excellent, and I love the zero stops too. The generous eye relief is very forgiving with standing, sitting, and prone shooting positions. This scope is compliant for NRA High Power and CMP Service Rifle rules and works well with my middle aged eyes. With the second focal plane the circle in the reticle matches the target at all powers. I only wish it had adjustable parallax instead for fixed, but that is minor.

VX-4.5HD 1-4.5x24 Service Rifle scope

This scope has a very high quality glass and the bull ring post reticle is simple and very precise. The ring is the same size the NF SR2 ring, "the black just fits inside the ring on a service rifle target." The turrets are low and a large diameter with a very nice indexing feel from one click to the next for precise adjustments. The Zero-Lock dial system is nice but once you set it, you can not make down adjustments beyond the Zero-Lock set point. This is a problem for guys that shoot 100 yard reduced course and want to maintain a 200 yard zero. Overall this is a very high quality scope that you will see a lot more of at Perry.

Outstanding Service Rifle Scope

Great scope for service rifle competition. Reticle is simple and easy to focus on and well suited for standard bull targets. Glass is fantastic. I really like the zero-stop system. Great option compared against Nightforce.
