Most Helpful Positive Review Lone Wolf gets a bad rap in my book
This part kit worked wonders in my G21 build. Everything fit like it should and slide even had the Glock "rattle". I would not hesitate to buy again.
Most Helpful Negative Review Bad quality control
Bought for a 10mm build. The extractor didn't work, even after filing the forward stop, it did not apply enough pressure to reliably extract the case from the chamber. The safety plunger was also not correct and was likely meant for a 9mm model, because it was .235" instead of .265" like the Glock 2...

Disappointment

by Just My Opinion, from CA, United States Written on November 17, 2025
It is not easy to find and aftermarket slide parts kits for a Glock 20. I have used Lone Wolf barrels in the past and had good results, so I thought I would try their slide parts kit. I had it intalled by a gunsmith on my G20 slide (aftermarket) and could not get it to function properly. Finally sent the slide back to the manufacturer, who told me I needed to install an OEM slide parts kit. So, now I am out the cost of this slide kit, plus the price of a new OEM slide parts kit, plus what I paid the gunsmith, not to mention the time and aggravation.

Inexpensive bliss

by Ottsman, Verified Owner from MN, United States Written on March 2, 2025
Inexpensive way to load up your slide. Everything good to go. If you change things slot like i have been you will want to utilize different sleeve spacer and spring locks (the white ones) they wear out fast. Other than that HOWL AT THE MOON. SAFE SHOOTING
Pros:
  • Inexpensive
Cons:
  • Some parts need uppgrades
  • Some parts in kit need to be upgraded

Leave a Lone Wolf To Himself...

by Ryan, from IL, United States Written on October 26, 2022
I hate to have to say it, but all these comments about product quality is true. I used both of their slide and frame completion kits and the quality is just unacceptable. I didnt even purchase it recently. I just came back to the product page to see what other consumers thought about the kit because they were that bad. Every single component went in the trash and start from scratch. Slide kit had parts out if spec and of poor quality. Frame kit is even worse. One of the most unpleasant triggers and fuction I have came across. Gritty, inconsistent pull and of POOR QUALITY I am a completely competent smith and I absolutely WOULD NOT TRUST MY LIFE WITH THESE PARTS! Do yourself a favor and dont buy these kits.

Lone Wolf G20 Sl8de completion kit

by Clifffalling, from AZ, United States Written on May 23, 2022
Garbage. I thought, surely other commenters were wrong. Nope. Channel liner completely out of spec, waaaay too large. OEM liner, went right in. Safety plunger, soft. Was damaged after the first few racks of the slide. The frame build kit was worse. I will review it separately.

Lone Wolf slide kit

by EricJ, from LA, United States Written on March 23, 2022
Maybe there is a use for this that i don’t know about and maybe it’s fine for that, but I bought a Polymer 80 kit where you build your own Glock. This kit has 4 pieces missing that you need plus the kit is a Gen 4 and the polymer 80 is a Gen 3. Im going to try to put it together this weekend but I don’t know what problems I’ll have with that. I wish I would have ordered a different kit but this was the only one in stock

It's okay...

by Kyle Roeder, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on August 19, 2021
The subject line pretty much sums it up.
I wouldn't purchase it again, but i wouldn't discourage someone buying it if thats the best SPK available.

The first thing that I noticed was that the backplate is not very strong, and appears to be plastic at first glance.
