Disappointing... Poor quality.
Bought the Type 1 & 2 for a build I'm working on. Machine and finish on each of these are terrible. Knurling doesn't match the picture, nor one another. Come on Magpul you can't even get something this simple correct?!? Very frustrating.
Perfect fit for the Magpul Shotgun Stock
This was a perfect fit for adding a QD anchor point to my Mossberg 590 with Magpul Stock. Easy install with no issues.

My Opinion
Optics Planet is still the best fast dependable service. Best deals and quality service. The insert kit was just what I needed and OP cane through. It was easy to install and works great. Magpauls type 1 sling swivel kit works perfectly.

Good quality product,shipped fast. Must have sleeve kit for magpul stock. If you're going to use a sling. It doesn't come with one. Glad I finally found out what went in those holes in the stock.

Sling mount
I have a Marlin 1885 trapper with a Magpul stock and forearm. I'm using it as a brush gun and wanted to use a sling arrangement for front, cross body carrying. These were easy to install and worker out great

Great Adapter
Added a Type 1 Sling Mount to my PRS Lite stock and couldn't be happier. Now gives me the ability to use QD swivels for swapping out slings between different weapon platforms. So simple and installs in less than 30 seconds.

QD Cups for Sling
They fit fine but you need to buy kit 2 for screws to attach to stock. Bought for Ruger PC with Magpul Backpacker stock. I consider these items to be way overpriced but could find no other alternatives.

QD that sling
It’s nothing special but it’s well made and works. This is the Type 1 model which works on its own as a QD point on one side. If you want QD points on both sides of your stock you’ll have to buy the Type 2, which is threaded, as well. Kind of expensive, especially if you buy both like I did but for me it’s worth it. I wish magpul just included but people do like different ways to attach their slings so it makes sense that they don’t, since they can make a buck. Side note, it is a free spinning QD cup
