Most Helpful Negative Review Faded front sight
the front sight was not as bright as the rear sights, almost not bright at all. Still better than not having night signts but very disappointed with the brightness of the front sight. Meprolight makes a great product. I have used these in several configurations over the years and they never disappoint. Very bright and built well. They have a great selection of products for most any application. And Optics Planet always has the best prices.

Recieved product in proper condition and sights were proffesionaly insatalled. Conducted a "law enforcement" qualification night shoot and by the following morning the front sight had lost its luminescence. Kimber/Meprolite requested I forward the sight to them for analysis, suggesting the sight was improperly installed or damaged post shipment. The sight is "staked" on and will require destroying the sight to remove. In order to save additional time and money, I will simply order a different set of sights.
Pros: Great sight for the Price
Cons: Questionable Warranty from KIMBER/Meprolite USA

ML10778: Meprolight Tru-Dot Tritium Night Sights, Black - Colt XSE Novak ML10778

If you want night sights for your Colt XSE 45 or 38 Super, this appears to be your only choice. XSE models have dovetail front sights, other Colts have post-style front sights and that is mostly what is available. These are expensive, but Meprolight Tru-Dots are good quality. Ask me again in five or six years!
Pros: Only Model with dovetail front to fit Colt XSE Series
Cons: Expensive. Need to be fitted by Gunsmith.
