Adjustable sights work on USP compact with filing

Tritium is bright. The rear dovetail on the compacts is 0.025” deeper than the full size. Mine is a USP 45CT. It lines up right at the top of the can (omega 45k) and is much more usable than the low-pro stock sights. The adjustable rear allowed me to get the zero I wanted. These are the only current production night sights that are suppressor-ish height that’ll work on the compacts. Other option is Dawson fiber optics. Overall, I would recommend this route since filing is easy. To clarify, you only have to file the bottom of the rear sight that hangs over the slide, NOT the dovetail. Wish other manufacturers would still make sights for this platform so modification wasn’t necessary. If your can’s diameter is less than the Omega 45k, you’ll have an even better sight picture.

The tritium is dim, does not work with HK USP. The HK USP 9 back slot spacing is deeper then the sight block goes down. The tactical USPs setup must not be the same spacing in the back block. Maybe it was a defective item. I used a sight block, puller and pusher and have done 4 this year that work for other guns.

Meprolight Front Sight for USP Expert 45

Love this sight! It sits high just like the factory sight and it works perfectly with the factory adjustable rear sight on a USP Expert 45. Make sure you fit it before pushing it on, you make need to trim a little off the sight. 1/3 to 1/2 should fit into the dovetail before pushing it in. It is the perfect factory replacement!

Excellent Front Sight!

I didn't care for the factory front sight on my HK USP Expert 45 so I searched for something new and found this. It has proven to be a really great front sight, I was able to keep the group inside 3 inches (two hands) at 25 yds. I highly recommend this front sight! High visibility. I left the factory adjustable rear sight on, no issues, this front sight is virtually the same height as the HK USP Expert factory front sight. I installed it with a vise, a 1/3 inch polymer punch and a hammer. Just pre-fit the sight before hammering it in, you may need to file a TINY amount of material off the front sight base (on the new front sight, NOT the pistol's dovetail!). Be patient, installing a front sight can be a little challenging.

The sights have a Great sight picture day or night. The sights are Made of metal not plastic like other sight makers. Perfect fit for the heckler and Koch usp. My favorite platform. All you need.

very visible

Ok so I first saw these on my heckler and Koch p30L and they were bright and nice. My other guns didn’t have it and the first thing I had to do was order these. When you turn off the lights these things absolutely light up well and are very visible. They look clean without all that very ugly writing on them and do exact you need from them. I ended up putting them on every one of my HK gun. Thanks!
