The single etched dot is a very useful, simple idea. I also threw mine on an AK, and it looks and functions great in that application. Glass isn't perfect, but plenty good for inside 200 yards. Being second focal, the dot appears smaller at high mag which is perfect. Up close it's big and easy to find on 1x, and you can extend the range and get better precision with a higher mag and smaller dot subtension. The dot is wonderfully crisp. Illumination can go VERY bright and cause tube illumination and bleeding, but there are enough settings you can dial to an appropriate level for any scenario. Only gripe is that the illumination dial is very stiff. Turret clicks are surprisingly crisp. Didn't check tracking, and don't plan to. For my use zero retention is all that matters, and it's gtg in that regard.
Pros:
- easy to use
- Simple
- Perfect red dot alternative

I've had this on my 7.62x39 Vepr for a year now and it's AMAZING. One of a very few scopes that have the appropriate eye relief for an AK. Clear glass and simple, fast reticle, what more could you want? Once dialed in we're able to double-tap multiple gongs at the 200yard range one right after another in seconds, Lots of fun! The dot is either illuminated red or just black, AND if you have it illuminated and move to a bright colored target it turns black. At 1x you can keep both eyes open. Can't say enough good stuff about it. If you own an AK this is what you want for fast mid range and close up shooting pleasure.
Pros:
- good price
- Perfect for AK

The scopes is made well, positive clicks on covered windage and elevation knobs. Unlike Aimpoint and EOTech, you can focus the dot with the eyepiece. The etched 4 MOA dot is hard to pick up if not illuminated, but is there if battery dies. Works as advertised at 4 power. At 1x, the view gets fish-eyed and difficult for me to use. I returned mine because of that problem at 1x.

Probably the best you can find for the money with good magnification and solid mounting options. I searched and tried many other items but this ended up being a good selection for my AR15 and my AR10.

The scope is really nice and clear a little bit heavy but the quality of the scope over shine it, I put on a switchview on the 1x4 dail of the scope and it works great, haven't shot it yet but I'm sure I'll be accurate. ...

This scope is the only product I was able to find that works just like a red dot at 1x yet provides moderate magnification that helps make more precise shots at moderate distances. The red dot is crisp, and the glass is good. The dot is definitely day-light visible. The second focal plane configuration means that the dot covers more of a target in close at 1x, and covers less of a the same target when placed at 100 yards and the scope is zoomed to 4x.
This configuration is a perfect fit for the kind of shooting that I like to do with my .223 M4 (between 7 yards and 150 yards) mostly from standing, kneeling, sitting, and prone positions.
I've only shot a couple hundred rounds at this point, but the scope shows no signs of drifting.
I couldn't be more pleased so far.

nice scope, rugged , i use on my AR .22 for plinking matches and silhouette matches , easy adjustments, can find cheaper on web now though.I like it for fast acquisition , its better than EO tech and cheaper, there is NO refraction and the dot is perfect in shape, you can use it not illuminated outside or lighten it if inside. use with both eyes open or one eye for offhand (standing target shooting). 1-4 power. would like those to 6x in future hopefully.
Pros:
- 30mm Tube
- positive clicks on turrents

I use this Mueller speed dot scope on a S&W 15-22 for Tactical 22 matches. It works great for quick fast shots. Eye relief is good and glass is clear. Illumination is good and red dot can be seen in bright sunlight.

It has great glass into sharp edges.Field of view 1 is only 4 meters smaller than in Meopta. The dot is perfect and clearly visible in the sun.I highly recommend to hunt pigs running.I have it mounted on a Remington 750 (.30-06).It is half the price than Meopta(When we add the postage, CLO + VAT).The only negative is that it has no intermediate switching on the dot.But I do not mind it.4 MOA dot is more than adequate for hunting Pig!
