Use scope tri-rail and shell deflector on sks..works great zeroed in at 100 yds..calabration marks work great used up to 400 yds Pros: Easy to set up and dial in...Great features for price

No matter how much I tried to focus the scope the cross hairs were so blurry, I could not see the tic marks. I'm not big on putting a product down, The review must be 200 charters long, so the rest of this is pritty much filler. I can only hope I got a dud

NcSTAR compact rifle scope 3x9x42

I have a lot of experience with scopes, the reason I purchased this one because it was cheap and I installed it on a .22 cal rifle. Boy is this junk. I wouldn't put it on a toy gun, it is so blurry and obscure. Save your money. the only reason I won't send it back is because they want me to pay for shipping and processing. I will quit while I am ahead. I will show all my retired military friends at the range what kind of JUNK is out there!!

Maybe I had a bad one but...

Aim wanders greater than 6 MOA between shots. Changing magnification changes point of aim too. Light and cheap, that's about it. If it holds its point of aim, it would be a great scope for its cost. Crosshair is really thick, but I am spoiled by what I mounted on my Rem700.

Very good compact scope for an AK-47

I have put this scope on 2 AK-47's and it looks like it was made specifically for that rifle. The 42mm objective lens produces a good wide and clear image. I've ran several hundred rounds through my AK and it is still just as accurate as the day I zeroed it in.
Pros: Very clear and accurate after zeroing in with good eye relief.
Cons: None
