Most Helpful Positive Review Great combo light/laser
Great value for the money. Pros: Price, stable mount, small size Cons: None
Most Helpful Negative Review It did not last two trips to the range
I inquired before I bought this if it would fit the rail of my Glock and was told yes it would fit. I mounted it as the directions advised but it was not easy . The next two trips to the range it popped off and fell on to the floor. The last time it fell it off it died. What a waste of money. ...

NC Star hand gun light/laser

by frank, from OR, United States Written on June 16, 2020
This is an excellent product so far. It clips on any hand gun or anything else with a rail system. The light is bright and well focused. The laser is bright green and easy to spot at distances well beyond hand gun shooting. Easy to mount and the function switch is easy to use and it is protected by the trigger guard.
Pros:
  • everything including price
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • lighting and targeting

Good light

by Andy, from NC, United States Written on March 8, 2017
The flashlight is adequate for home defense. The laser fades in bright sunlight but is excellent indoors. It was difficult to attach to the Weaver rail on my Hi-Point carbine but with patience fits securely. Seems to be a good balance of price and quality.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Extremely tight fit, so it takes a bit of muscle to install

Good tech, bad mount

by Joey, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on December 2, 2016
light and laser are fine....mount is weak... no adjustment. Works ONLY on Glock type mount, not on Piccatinny rails .

Bought it for my VersaMax...it now sits on my Glock 19. Unfortunately, it is also made in China.

Best Light Laser Combo

by bobc, from VA, United States Written on October 13, 2016
After shopping this purchase considerably, I found the best deal on Opticsplanet.Com. The NcStar Green Laser 150 Lumen Light Combo was the best option for my applications. I was outfitting one Winchester 1300 pump shotgun and one Remington 870 Marine Magnum with folding stock, Tacstar side saddle, and light/laser. After trying separate units with a 1" tube mount, I found the best option to be the NcStar. The price was excellent. The quality is just as good as Streamlight and other more expensive, similar units. I have not run many rounds through either shotgun, so longevity remains to be seen. Overall, I feel that this unit is excellent. I have already ordered another.

The Green Laser

by Johnnie Chambers, Verified Owner from AL, United States Written on July 3, 2016
Recently I ordered this product to help and assist me in my pistol training at the range. Over the years, the eyes have grown worse, due to old age. When using the green laser light, I can now see better of where I should be placing my front sight in order to be closer to the "Bulls Eye." The adjustments of Left to Right and Up and Down were so easy. Also, the flashlight is wonderful to have in case you have to get out at nights to look around the house. Try it, buy it, you won't regret it.

Low cost and quality

by AZDRYHEAT, from AZ, United States Written on October 27, 2014
This light/laser was a bit disappointing. Thought the mount was going to be nice in that it was a quick disconnect. Unfortunately the unit does not fit tight on the rails and there is way more wobble than I would like. Also this is rated for 150 lumens, and I don't think it is anywhere near that bright. Positives are price, green laser is very bright. Used the laser at 30 feet in very bright Arizona sunlight with no problems. Will probably either return or sell on craigslist.

Save your Money.

by Legacy Reviewer, from DE, United States Written on July 9, 2014
It took me three shots with my XDM 40 for the battery door to come unlatched then the lock on switch would not work, only the intermittent part of the switch could not get the door closed. Switch housing plastic came apart. Disappointed. Needs improvement.
Pros: Nice functions
Cons: Batteries are to heavy for door latches
