Great Binoculars
Best value for the money in a full size binocular. Fantastic performance in low light, and they're waterproof.

Nikon 10x42mm Monarch REALTREE TRT Binoculars
Optically Nikon Monarch binos are great. Super clear. Great feeling in hands. Build like a tank.
But I guess nothing is 100% perfect. Ocular lens caps on Monarch is a JOKE :) They way too big to stay on eyecups. It looks that they belongs to different bigger binos. I bought REALTREE binos for my hunting season. And Nikon failed to deliver 100% camo appearance: Monarch case is black and cheep like from dollar store. Strap is black color too. And all lens caps together with eyecups on REALTREE version also black. It looks like SEMI Camo Set. If they producing realtree camo binoculars than why half of the whole binocular package is painted in Black ???
And definitely you'll want to purchase new right case/pouch for these binoculars. I gave 4 stars because Nikon still have a room for so simple improvements.

Nikon Binoculars
Extremely happy to have recieved my new REALTREE Monarch TRT Binoculars. The amount of light transmitted through the optics is fantastic for a medium priced binocular. Can't wait for hunting season!

Monarch TRT 10x42
I bought these 10x42 Nikons mainly for hunting, and I have almost nothing but good things to say about them. The only con is the stupid ocular lens caps: it's a one-piece cover that doesn't stay on at all. The objective lens caps are great, as is everything else about these. They really are awesome binos for the price. I also highly recommend the Nikon binocular harness to use with these... excellent combo for all-day use.
