I have purchased at least three of this binocular, for myself and friends. I keep mine in my car. You never know what you might come upon while driving. It takes up hardly any room in the glove box. The quality is what you expect from Nikon. It doesn't take the place of my full size binoculars but it sure is handy in a pinch. It's great for sporting events and concerts. Fits in a pocket or purse.
Pros:
- Handy
- Good quality and price

Got these as a gift in 2010 and they have held up flawlessly. To say I am rough on gear is an understatement. I normally hunt 30 or so days a year and every hunt they've been around my neck getting knocked around. They haven't been in the case in years, when I'm not in the woods they live on my kitchen counter. Just a few days ago they sat through a snow storm with windchills in the single digits then brought straight into a 71* house. Lenses have never scratched and focus knob still works like new.

I got these for my sister in law as a Christmas gift. She wanted to have a light, compact set of binoculars to bird watch without having to drag out a full size set of binoculars.
All in all, she was very pleased. These seem to be very good glass at a good price for the intended use. We certainly were happy with the purchase.

After using a inexpensive binocular for years this was really a treat. Love the way if focuses for near or far. I have used it for watching birds from my patio, both near and far. We are in a flight path so it also works well for watching planes coming in for landing.

Nikon optics and for $50 how could you go wrong just as clear as my monarchs bought these for my daughter to use while she out hunting with me and I might just have to trade her. These are a great value and would highly recommend them.

Took them camping and couldn't be happier as these are small, lightweight and offer clear views. The only drawback is that they are not waterproof but don't let that dissuade you. Nikon makes some great products and these won't disappoint.

When searching for a pair of quality compact binoculars, you need look no further than the Nikon A30s. The optics are crisp and clear, the weight and size are negligible, and the price is very affordable. Although best known for their camera-related products, Nikon produces excellent binoculars, and these A30s are a good example.

My wife and I are enthusiastic birders. As such we never want to be without a binocular. I bought this Nikon Aculon for my wife to keep in the glove box of her car. We are both very pleased with it. It has a very good image for its size and price. It doesn't take the place of our full size binoculars but is more than adequate in a pinch. Remember, the best binocular is the one you have with you when something worth seeing comes along.
Pros:
- Compact Size
- good image quality
