I installed this scope in new rings. My first five shots put me on the paper. I made slight adjustments horizontal and vertical very easily and was able to shoot a five shot group within about a three in circle after testing various powder loads. Now that I have reloaded with precision and the load I shoot best with, I will go back out on the next nice day and really zero in that rifle and scope. The rifle is a 30-06 Browning, bolt action. I couldn't be more please with the performance of the scope.

22 years and going strong!
I bought this scope when I bought my .300 Win Mag. It’s been there for 22 years now and it’s still going as strong as ever. Extremely clear,great field of view, great reticle. It has held up with hundreds of magnum rounds. It has never fogged up or lost it’s zero. Audible clicks on both turrets. It’s an amazing scope that I only wish they still manufactured. I have no idea what Nikon will do if I have to get a warranty replacement now that 1) this hasn’t been available for over a decade, and 2) they no longer manufacture scopes. I still have the lifetime anything goes warranty paperwork and the original box. I miss their scope line!

Another great Monarch
Another great monarch scope to add to the growing collection cannot beat these scopes for the money clear as any of the $1K scopes but half the money. Never had one fail yet........
