Purchased this to mount on a custon AR15 - 24" 1:12 SS Lothar barrel purose built to put Wylie Coyotes permantly asleep without damaging pelts with Hornady 35 grain NTX. Mounting & initial setp was straight foreward & uncomplicated, calibration fairly simple and accomplished following "firmware upgrade" - most usually required by ATN product's right out of the box..... this is a NEGATIVE, of course only in my opine. Other NEGATIVE is quality and clarity of actual image vs ATN's adverisement, actual image is far more "grainy/ pixelated" than advertisements. Setting up the X-Sight for individual loads is time consuming but once all parameters are plugged in, sight is zero'd for the range I achieved 1.5" groups consitantly without any readjusting. Re-Ranging was a bit of a pain.... Range target, access X-Sight menu, plug in range, exit menu and fire...... On target every time, provided target didn't move.....
Switching to NV the image was acceptable given the range limitation of the illuminator, sight zero remained consitant with the switch.
Cons:
- Firmware update needed right out of box, image clarity.

I've had experience over the last several years with American Technologies Network Corporation (ATN). I purchased an ATN X-Sight II HD 5-20X and was extremely pleased with the scope. As it was new technology it had a few glitches such as an occasional lock up and although it was advertised as a night scope the IR light that came with the scope was limited in range. If I knew then I'd order the bigger Super Nova. The night video was great as long as you had a short-range target or the target area was already lit up when using the smaller light. Despite this the daytime optics were great and a pleasure to use for watching game and hunting. In fact I was impressed with how well the optics collected light right up to the last bit of daylight during afternoon hunts. The picture was a bit pixilated at full magnification, however it was a minor limitation, as it wasn’t a factor in identifying an aim point. The one shot zero was also a big plus and worked perfectly the first time I used it. By far the scope was way beyond my expectations for the price and offered a great entry point, especially for night hunting. Most important was the customer support I received in resolving minor issues. Most of the issues were due to a failure on my part to fully understand the complexities of the scope and updating software. The directions could have been better but I can't fault the support I received in resolving these issues. I know that there have been numerous complaints about t...

I can see how this would be a good night sight but am very disappointed in the day time mode. I bought this weapon sight about a year before my work life allowed me to mount it and try it out. Sighting it in, I started at 25 yards with a .300 Blackout. The zero feature worked perfectly and the picture was crystal clear. I fired two shots and then used the one shot zero. It put the next two rounds in the center of a one inch bull. Then I moved to the 100 yd range. I could not get a clear image at any magnification (like reading without my glasses on) even when using the objective adjustment. I put the reticle on the blurry target and fired a round. Could not see the bullet strike on 14X. Then I fired several more rounds and started to see a blurry black blob appear. To my surprise it was about 1” above the center of the bull. This was subsonic suppressed. Who would have guessed?
I called ATN to ask them how I fix the blurry image since you can not see a .30 caliber bullet hole at 100 yds and they told me that this was normal and the picture would be grainey at that distance. So if you are planning to fine tune at that range you had better plan on bringing a spotting scope because the zeroing feature is useless.
However, if you finally get it sighted in to your liking (mine is pretty precise) then it seems the scope should do all right although don’t expect a very clear picture. None of us expect super clear in night vision but this part works very well because we expect gra...

This optic is an amazing value with a ton of features, at a great price-point. Very sturdy and well built. Very thorough configuration and great tutorials available on Youtube to assist with setting up your optic.

I was very skeptical to say the least. I am a firm believer in “you get what you pay for” and night vision under $500, come on. I had a friend that bought one, and after loking through his I went ahead and ordered one. I am convinced that this is by far the best value out there for night time varmint/hog control. Now, I did not say this is the best night vision out there, you can get better...for SEVERAL thousand dollars, however this rivals night vision costing four to five times as much. I do not use the range finder or balistic calculator, and wish the device would stream to my phone and record at the same time (can only do one or the other at a time), but it is great for me as a set it and use it night time scope. For the price it will open up a new world to the way you hunt at night.
Pros:
- Price
- One shot zero
- Night vision
Cons:
- Can not stream and record at same time
- unit is heavy

This is my first night vision but so far it has exceeded my expectations. Thanks for a great day/night vision product. The battery pack is definitely a must with these products. I can't wait to get out on some of my club property and get after the live targets. Steel targets have gotten old. I am looking forward to taking a lot of video shots.

Scope works as advertised. Dang good price. Only complaint is the IR illuminator that comes with the scope. I may get 30-40 yards with it. Looking for a better IR that’ll give me 100 yards. Scope software was up to date when I received it. Really like the battery pack included, but the soft case that straps it to the buttstock only works when the stock is collapsed.

Scope works as described. There is a good bit of a learning curve with this scope. Seems to hold zero well swapping out between rifles. Holding zero well even on my .50 Beowulf. Purchased the upgraded battery pack. Holds a charge very well. The battery pack case doesn't fit any of my AR's stocks. I ended up using long Velcro strips and that works okay.

Always wanted a night scope and took the plunge. I can see better with a moon with my 50mm Bushnell scope. After hours I went to a farmers field and could just make out a cow that was a light color. I have good batteries and the IR. Should have gotten a thermal just for night. This doesn't work that well in daylight. Very frustrated.....
Cons:
- heavy, grainy, too many adjustments
