Pelican 1600 is an excellent case. Highly dependable and easy to store all equipment. OpticsPlanet had excellent pricing and super fast free shipping. Everything arrived as promised!!!! Pros: Plenty of room, safe for equipment, durable Cons: a little larger than expected. Definitely not a carry-on

Great Case

I've used Pelican cases for many different things. I have to say that I am always pleased with the quality and durability of these cases. Not to mention that they are weather proof. If you are looking for a virtually indestructible, long lasting, weather proof case then Pelican is the way to go. I'd recommend any case made by Pelican.

It's Pelican Quality!

Great case, big, Normal Pelican quality.I have a 1600 and a 1500 both without foam, I use them as toolboxes. They tough and withstand the beating of the oil field. I will be ordering another for a rifle I have on order. Again the quality is great, just as expected.

All of our SAFH2O UV Survivor disaster relief water systems are secured in these cases. Our clients have taken these to the farthest corners of the earth, dropped them into remote locations by parachute, knocked them into rivers, and just generally abused them in the field. Not once, EVER, have we had a customer tell us their case failed on them - no leaks, no cracks, no broken hinges, nothing. I cannot imagine ever switching brands.

We have purchased a LARGE number of these cases, as we ship our disaster relief water systems in them. Not once have we ever had any kind of issue or customer complaint regarding these cases.
