I have used Peltor products and had great success with them.
Unfortunately, not this time. The left side shorted out almost immediately after receiving them. Fit and finish was poor and the push on design of the battery cap is ridiculous.
Move on to a different Peltor product.
Pros: Comfortable
Cons: Battery caps are not easy to use. Annoying clicking sounds upon reduction of gun fire.

GOOD OVERALL PRODUCT WITH GOOD DAMPNING OVER 82DB. CAN HEAR ECHO FROM LOUD SOUNDS WITH THE LOUD SOUND DAMPENED. AMBIENT SOUNDS CAN BE AMPLIFIED AND HAVE CONVERSATION AS IF I WAS USING A HEARING AID WITHOUT THE CONCUSION NOISE.
Pros: GOOD PRODUCT
Cons: NEED MORE CUSSION FOR A BETTER FIT TO THE EAR.

Because I'm currently in the middle east, i had to have these shipped to my home address. My wife seen them and informed me that they seemed scratched up and used. I contacted OP and they said that I could return them, but if there was nothing wrong with them, than I would be liable for the shipping. I wont be stateside for another 2 months, so Its a gamble though i do value my wifes opinion. I dont want to get home though and see that they are used and mared up, and then I will have been passed the 30 monet back. What should I do?
Pros: Great reviews
Cons: havent seen them yet

I've had these for a year now. These are great and obviously military quality. I expect they are the last pair of shooting muffs I will ever have to buy. The limiting factor is that they perform only marginally better than the $30 muffs I was using. The Peltor muffs are a little clearer and have better volume control but still require the use of foam plugs at indoor shooting ranges. I don't think you could get a better pair of muffs for shooting and hunting but you do end up paying a lot more. I recommend them if you are in search of top quality and durability.
Pros: Well Made
Cons: Big Price for Comparable Performance
