This is my second Plano gun case. I find them be very durable, especially for the price. I like the fact that has rollers. And, the latches seem very strong. I feel very secure with a high end fire arm and optic in this case.

My rifle with break 53 and 1/2 inches long, Longe Range Leupold tall turrets, 14 inch's from toe of heal to tip of turret. It takes about all of this case. knife set, Range finder and sling used what was left over. Bolt is in a foam slit cut for it as well. Ammo was required to be in different lockable Container. I bought it knowing the gun would just fit. Very strong built case and an excellent value for it's price

Very sturdy. Large enough for 2 guns. I was able to fit a 16" M4 and an RPR with a 24" barrel - both with optics - along with magazines for each gun into the cut out foam. Seals watertight. Heavy duty wheels help with the weight (case alone is 30#). Basically this case performs really close to Pelican at less than half the price.
Pros:
- durable
- Heavy Duty
- solid
- spacious
- Cheap alternative
Best Used for:
- Multiple rifles with few scopes

My original case didn't have enough space for a large scope so I had to upgrade. This case fit the bill perfect. Enough room for a 50 BMG, scope, two magazines, and some storage.. Gun was a bit heavy also, but the case is holding up pretty well also..

If you don't like worrying about your firearms then this case is for you. Built tough exterior with plenty of foam inside to offer all the protection you need. Rugged latch system with ample points to attach your locks for security. True double long gun space with enough room for two scoped guns with room to spare. This case is not light weight but it does have heavy duty wheels to help you get where your going. Very happy with Plano's quality and dependability.
Pros:
- rugged
- Quality construction
- Secure
Best Used for:
- secure storage and transport

I had not seen this case before I purchased it, so I was a little skeptical. Once I received it all doubts were removed. Very hi quality, very well built will compete with SKB, Pelican. Plano delivers again!!!!!!!

I purchased this case to house a high dollar firearm on trips. When I got the case it was all of what I expected and more. This thing is a tank! I was able to cut out the pattern for the gun and accessories with ease and had plenty of room. I have had it for about a week now and have been in and out of it 2 times a day, a latch just broke. I have contacted plano for warranty. This is not the sellers fault. I am not sure what caused it to break if it was cold or just because its still new and things are really a tight fit. That is only reason I rated 4 star.

Quality well built. Feels like it can be dropped from 100ft and not break! Clamp locks engage positively, handles and wheels work as described, The foam does have a weird odor to it and needs to air out. Other than that i have no complaints (not that that was one) Happy w/purchase, would recommend.

So this is the 2nd case I've bought made by Plano. I needed a case that would accommodate the length of my .338 Lapua, with room to spare. As expected this case is awesome. Very sturdy, heavyduty construction, tight waterproof seal. I also like that you can secure with a lock at each of the 4 latches. I'm supremely confident that this case will meet and surpass my expectations. I realize people who look at these ratings want as much details as possible, as do I. However, trust me when I say I am confident this case will not disappoint. It comes with a solid warranty, and it'll match up in quality to other cases that cost much more. I recommend this case and will continue to purchase Plano cases for the foreseeable future.
Pros:
- Price
- quality of product
- Secure fit of weapons
Best Used for:
- Safe storage of high end weapons
- Longer than average weapons

I have a Ruger Precision Rifle in .243 (longest one they make). So you couple this length with a 6" muzzle brake and the unfolded tactical stock and my rifle was 52" long! I could NOT find via numerous Internet searches ANY gun case that would accommodate my long gun, until I found this BAD BOY. This guy is LOOONG and HEAVY and it has wheels, is waterproof, shockproof and has a pressure valve on it. I comes with foam pads in both halves and you can just trace you gun's outline, then cut out the foam to custom fit your gun. There is another layer of foam below the cutout so you don't have to worry about contact between your gun and the plastic shell. You could drop this sucker off a building and your gun would survive. This case is not cheap, but as they say, "You get what you pay for". You have to figure, this gun is worth $1400 bucks retail so what is another $200 bucks to protect your investment. Get this gun case on steroids and you will NOT be sorry.
