Most Helpful Positive Review Plano Hard case
Ad claims will work with 50mm scope. You might want to measure and ask seller. I use this for a Remington 700 w/ 22" barrel with a 40 mm Redfield and low mount rings. That set up just barely (by about 1/4 inch)fits, and that is not a particularly long or tall rifle. If I put on a longer recoil pad or went to a 50 mm it would NOT fit. Its long dimension is OK but it's not wide enough. Pros: Good materials, seems sturdy Cons: barely large enough

The case is a great buy. Durable, reliable, and secure closing method. It is however a little small for a single rifle case, although the rifle I intended to store in this case didn't fit, I have another that will.

Good case for travel

I purchased this case as it is 48 1/2 inch long and will fit inside a large duffle bag. It holds my rifle, ammo, and knife. This lets me combine my clothing and rifle as one checked bag for out of town hunting trips.
Pros: light, fits inside a large duffle bag
