I have tried other muzzle brake area 409 was OK but difficult to install, american armament was more expensive and only reduced recoil by about 30% ,but the precision armament hypertap muzzle brake is awesome have them on 4 rifles. 30 06 is so tame now I shoot 30 rounds with no discomfort my daughter even shoots it ,if you have a recoil or muzzle lift problem get a hypertap you won't regret it

Insane Brake

Put this brake on my .243 with a 20” barrel. The rifle doesn’t even budge once you break the trigger. The concussive effects sent down range are drastic. This was purchased to go between my 6arc and 243. The price tag is worth it for the results.

IMHO the hypertap is absolutely the best brake for the money. I have tried others, none even come close to the recoil retention of the hypertap. Easy installation, self timing, but the supplied spanner wrenches are a joke. Use standard wrenches. I recommend this if want to turn your rifle into a fun shooter.

hypertap muzzle brake

Absolutely the best brake money can buy I have 3 at least 50% recoil reduction loud but worth it only downside is the spanner wrenches totally useless toss em highly recommend this product I use for targets no problem shooting 50+ rounds with 270 or 30 06 with zero impact to my shoulder

Fit well and works perfectly on my savage stealth 6.5 creedmore. Very notable decrease in felt recoil. Does increase the noise somewhat but overall a very good product that I would recommend to anyone looking for a quality muzzle brake
