Got a Savage MSR10 308 with the standard Savage brake. Replaced the brake with this one. Huge! Difference. I've got a PA 1x8 on it and I can still see the dirt impacts at 100 yards resting on a bag. Brake looks good till tools they give you mangle it
Nice brake works well. Tools they give you to install it tend to damage the brakes finish though. I even had a gun store mount it amd they tried their hardest to not damage the finish but in the end it was damaged
the most effective muzzle brake i have used.
This muzzle brake has tamed the recoil on my sako s20 300 win mag shooting 178 gr bullets.
My rifle has the recoil of my 22/250 now. It is well worth the money.

Great product
This thing works great it does exactly what it was designed to do and on top they have partially drilled holes which I did need to use sum of them to keep muzzle down the instruction are clear on what size hole to drill and what percent it will give you per size drilled —- great product great website

- I put this on a Begara HMR in 6.5 PRC and it works great

New built HOWA 1500 .308 24" Heavy.
Started with VG-6 muzzle break taken off my AR-10.
I put about 150 break-in rounds through it over 2 days with a little tenderness to the right shoulder. Wasn't bad but still could not see the hit at 100 yards.
Just purchased the Hypertap and installed it last evening. Went out this morning and put 70 rounds out. I could actually see the hit on 7 out of 10 rounds. ZERO tenderness. Here I set three hours later and can't tell I shot today.
Ammo: Reloads, 41 grains of Precision Rifle pushing a 175 grain Sierra Match King.
Shot from Caldwell's $500+ dollar shooting table. Also a wonderful experience.
Will be at the 720 yard range next week. No doubt in my mind that I will see every round hit.
My sincere thank you to all the folks at Precision Armament for the development of this break.

Tame the recoil
My son and i bought identical s&w ar10 in 308.we set one up with this brake and the other we tried 4 different brands and we both felt this was the best.less felt recoil.

Get one and enjoy
We set up 2 identical ar10 308. 1 with this brake on it and the other we would swap out in between 4 other brands.and no muzzle device. This one came out the winner in aesthetics ,size recoil reduction. Does give a increase in muzzle blast. But there is no free lunch.

Wonderful Engineering.
I bought this for my Savage 110 in 300Wmim hopes of taking it some. Having such a high claimed recoil reduction, I had high expectations, but still thought I would be able to feel the recoil. Boy was I presently surprised! Not only did it reduce the felt recoil, but diverted the noise away from my ears too. I was able to shoot a box of Winchester 150 grain dear loads and a box of 165 grain PPU loads like I was shooting a a 308, I was even able to shoulder for it without getting knocked back, or drilling the upper ports. Highly recommend, but be sure to really crank down on the nut, it came loose after 2 rounds.

Works as advertised
The product looks very nice, clean and well made. The tool used to tightening tool slips very easily on the front of the brake, in my experience it was to the point it became near useless. The tools also marked up the brake with shiny metal transfer. As far as performance, it was amazing. Firing five shot groups with and without the brake mounted and it was like night and day.
