Quality Ear Pro
Nice pair of electronic ear muffs that offer high level of protection with ambient hearing abilities.
Independent volume controls for each ear, which can be useful in a large range or class setting. Ambient hearing with auto cutoff works very well. Uses 2 AAA batteries per ear, accessed behind a foam flap in the cup. Not the sleekest design for that but more than does the job.
Very comfortable to wear but the size was a little large for getting a good cheek weld on rifles. I prefer the models that fold up more for storage/transport but if you want as much NRR as you can get, you need thicker ear cups like these.
These will my new loaner pair and so far the responses have been overwhelmingly positive when being handed these beauties compared to my old, junky loaner pair.

Longevity of ProEars Gold
Warranty & performance specs sound great. The “However” here is to carefully monitor performance and condition of the product (muff linings deteriorated rapidly and electronics on one muff soon failed). For the price paid, one would expect the best performance possible.
Comfortable and tough.
I have to admit I was that guy at the range with the foam ear plugs for years... I had no idea how annoying putting in ant taking out ear plugs and having them blow on the ground till I bought these Pro Ears Gold II 26 Earmuffs.... Love them and kick myself in the but for not getting them sooner...

These are a very nice set of ear pro. The fit on the head is very comforable and the sound quality is very good. I would defentaly reccomed them. They are a bit large but I can say I didnt really notice while I was waring them.

Important Investment for Serious Shooter
The Pro Ears Gold II 26 has been a very, very impressive pair of hearing protection. The Gold II 26s produce a very clear sound with rapid response time and the quality of Pro Ears is felt immediately. What I loved the most about the Gold II 26s was the comfort of the ear pro after a long day on the shooting line. I've spent hours on the range as a student and instructor's assistant around multiple other shooters, gunfire being pretty much constant from morning to late afternoon. Three popular brands I had experience with prior rank nowhere near the Pro Ears in terms of comfort. The Gold IIs are an incredible upgrade from entry-level electronic ear pro. The quality in sound and comfort from the Pro Ears is worth the investment of any serious shooter, and I look forward to my next pair.

Super comfortable with high quality audio.
I've used these for extended periods of time in the rain and snow and never had a single issue. Having two separate audio controls definitely makes a difference in audio quality.

These are very nice.
My wife and I love ours! I got black, she got Pink. It was fun to watch people looking at my wife’s nice Pink headsets, and then watch her blast center target from 300 yards with the AR-15, and have it be very quiet. Turn up the sound and talk normally after! A .22 sounded like a BB gun. Very nice not to have to keep taking these off to talk.

best ear protection i ever had , i shoot 2 to 3 matches a week and also ro very comforable to wear for long periods,triple a batteries easy to find and install,i can hear quiet conversaions over loud gun fire,also a low battery warning so i do not relace batteries when not needed, the best of the best greg

Fantastic!
Incredibly comfortable with the new Gel Ear Seals, while maintaining a solid NRR rating of 26. These hearing muffs don’t hit my stock when I shoulder my shotgun either because of the contoured fit. The sound quality is excellent and there is no “breaking up” with the new and improved compression technology. Nice new model from Pro Ears. Made in the USA and 5 year warranty. Can’t go wrong-you get what you pay for. Highly recommend.
