This Magpul does not fit the Springfield Armory M1A
Just doesn’t fit...Should have bought the Springfield one. They are plastic material and the design is obviously for another weapon, perhaps a .308 but not the Springfield M1A which they are advertised for.....
M1a 10 rd. magazine PRO-Mag
The magazine box is flimsy, the follower sticks, the cartridges do not feed consistently, the feed lips have a sharp edge and are prowned to flexing. I do NOT recommend this product and will be returning them.

Affordable Alternative
This is an affordable alternative if you are unable or unwilling to pay for the OEM SA product. Fits just fine in an M1A but doesn't quite seat (latch on the magazine catch) as nicely as the OEM. I would compare it to the way you close the door to luxury car (OEM SA) vs. a basic compact car (Promag). The magazine otherwise is reliable (without any feeding issues) but I would categorize this as a range accessory. I do like the bluing finish...smooth but not slippery to handle.
I would also be careful loading these under pressure as the edges of these box magazines are not smooth and does not have the anti-tilt follower.
