Well built but same height as a 10 round mag
Bought this for a Ruger American Predator.
Was thinking a 5 rounder would stick out the bottom of the rifle less.
WRONG! Exactly the same height at the PMAG 10 that came with the Ruger American.
It could be shorter, should be shorter, but its not.
Please make a true 5 round mag, not just a 10 r...

ProMag 5 Round Magazine
I bought this magazine for hunting. I had high expectations for it. After taking it to the range and using it to sight in my rifle (AR15 Platform), it falls out of the magazine well out after about the second or third round is fired.
5 rounds is all you want
I purchased these excellent Mag-Pul AR15 magazines to use when shooting from the bench developing accurate loads for my various AR platform rifles. These magazines are perfect for this task. Optics Planet (OP) had the magazines at a fair price, and of course their service is outstanding. So the magazines were shipped quickly. Thanks OP. Great products and outstanding service.

Good Mag for hunting and zeroing.
I needed something that didn’t stick out as far as a Standard Capacity 30 rounder for sighting in my Modern Sporting Rifle and for hunting. Looks great in FDE. It fits my mag well nice and tight. So far no feeding issues and loads fast.

If you're looking for a true 5 round "flush fit" mag, this isn't it. It's a 10 round, 3.5" mag with a 5 round blocker in it. I have a 10 round mag on my Ruger, bolt action,.300 blkout, and wanted a 5 round so it wouldn’t be hanging out the bottom of the rifle. There are no dimensions or wording listed in the ad to suggest this is a true, 1.75" long 5 round mag. Customer Service went out of their way to make it right, but spending anymore time (on hold for 30 mins + another 15 with customer service) and money driving 40 minutes round trip to U.P.S. to return it, wasn't worth it on a $13.75 mag (not counting the $10 shipping). The customer service rep assured me dimensions and wording would be added to the ad to make it obvious what you were ordering if size / length was why you were buying.........not just capacity. We will see.

Magpul quality as always
I have to use these 5 rounders living in a city of blue with no other choice. The fit and the operation of these is just like any other magpul magazine, works perfect without a problem.

Hunting Magazine
Needed 5 shot magazine for an AR to comply with Michigan hunting regulations. There were relatively few options when searching online. Located the ProMag AR-15 5 round 5.56 RollerMag at Optics Planet. Reviews of the product were good, elsewhere. Seems like a well made product and bullets feed well.

Works great in AR, Let’s me use lead slead, like the shorter magazine for hunting. An easier Opics planet had best price I could find. Their great to deal with on purchases. They’re not a lot to say about a magazine. These. Are. Good ones though

Dont use extra site
Came with green optic, cut and used orange optic, but would not stay installed without glue. Kinda misses the point if you want them to be interchangable. Definitley like the sights, but would be nice to be able to swap colors
