Camber out of spec
I received one, had to return it because the camber was well out of spec and no rounds could load with the neck space. Returned it for exchange, but that kind of bad quality control is very worrying.
I will update this review when I receive the replacement.
Most versatile rifle I've ever known
From the 5.56 to .22 lr and now .300 blackout.

I received the upper receiver and really enjoy it, and took it out to sight in my scope and i used 150 grain rounds and it shot like a dream, so i will be recommending this product to any one that is thinking about converting there 5.56 or 223 to a 300 blk put then optics is the best place yo get it.

Value, thats it.
Great value. Cheaper than building it yourself but you wish you did. Gas tube pin was not installed very well. Gas system was not very tight, leaking some air. Barrel is very cheaply made, extremely dirty from the factory. Had to polish the chamber a bit to get rounds to load reliably. Feed ramps very sharp, needs some sand paper and polish to stop destroying thin jackets.

Great upper
It came coated with something,took apart rail and cleaned and oiled upper good, and reassembled,and added a Toolcraft BCG & a charging handle. The gas block screws are torqued very tight, so I left them alone. Added to my carbine lower, and I shot about 60 rds of ammo threw this upper, and it ran like a sewing machine. It likes the Ammo inc. 110gr V-Max bullet, that was only ammo I had to shoot at that time Great upper at a dam good price, with a CMV Nitrite treated 16" barrel, very accurate at 100 yards, very little Recoil. The deal of the Century. Get one, I recommend. My favorite gun for brush hunting in Texas.

Replacement upper is good
First upper was out of spec, replacement upper is good. It is however so close to spec at the bottom of the rounds chamber, that a in spec round of .374" at the base will be a tight squeeze that will bind a bit. I bought another die that sizes to .373 at the base to avoid this. I have not yet tested the accuracy out of this upper, only one no-optics, eye down the barrel shot for both testing and the ejection of a somewhat bound case that I didn't want to tear my finger up pulling out with the charging handle.

Great customer service.
I have purchased numerous items from Optic Planet. Their prices and delivery are better than most. My grandchildren gave me a 300 Blackout upper for Christmas. I had to remove the flash protector so I could legally bring it to my vacation house in New York. When I did so and attempted to clean it for the first time, I discovered heavy rust in the barrel and chamber! I called Optics Planet and they agreed to replace it without question even though I had damaged the flash hider taking it off. I was very impressed by their customer service. I will update this review when I get the new "Rust Free" upper.

Awsome upper for the money
I purcahased rhe 16" barrel 300aac with the 15" mloc gaurd.The fit and finish is good. Shoots good using ultrasonic rounds 1" groups at 100yds using 125gr 2200fps rounds. I was a little scared to make this order after reading some of the reveiws about Optics Planet.But i had a great experience myself.I ordered on the Sunday after Christmas and the order was delivered on Thursday Same week .Also received emails every step of the way.

300 AAC Blackout
Very nice upper for the money and great shooter very accurate. In my opinion it’s worth every penny. Can’t beat it with the charging handle and the bolt carrier group. Thinking about giving it a lesser rating on the fact they make you type in 200 characters for the review

Radical Firearms 16 in. 300 AAC Blackout Upper Assembly
Great product from Radical Firearms, worked fine on my Smith & Wesson M&P 15 lower receiver and had no issues.I wanted a 300 blackout upper and i read very good reviews on Radical Firearms uppers so that is why i bought one and was not disappointed. Fired several hundred rounds thru it with no issues. I would highly recommend their uppers.
