I've had the RCBS Auto Priming Tool for over 30 years. Once I started using it I stopped looking for anything else, it's that good and easy to use! I like the idea of a separate priming operation which allows me to feel the primer seas and bottom out.

I had used my brothers in the past so when the time came to start my own reloading, I knew this would be my best option. The reason I purchased the RCBS priming tool is for my rifle rounds only. Extremely easy to use. Highly recommended.

Was very happy to receive this reloading primer tool, I was using a hand held tool for my primer instillation and was a lot of messing around with getting shell in right spot to put in primer, Putting primes in tight new casings can be a work out on your hand, I saw this tool and decided to upgrade and get this tool. Its was easy to set up and its easy to put primers in tubes, And easy to get the primers in far enough to so they fire been down that road with the hand primer, If you don't get them seated deep enough they wont launch.
Pros:
- great value and easy to use

This primer is about the best of the pack but would be equal to the APS unit I have. The rest of the primer tool manufactures leave a lot to be desired. It has a good primer push FEEL and you don't have to touch the primer with your fingers. Buy the extra feed tubes if you purchase this unit so you don't become aggravated having to frequently stop to feed the beast. Gave only 4 stars because it's built in Mexico and is not as tight as my American old unit. But it funtions good and allows the press to remain clean for loading while priming on the bench. This allows my son to prime while I throw loads and seat the bullets. You won't regret the purchase!

I haven't used it yet, but seems that it is well built and functional I had an issue with the delivery. When it came, one of the priimer loading tubes was crushed on the end. I contacted RCBS directly, and they sent me a replacement; no questions asked. No harm no foul! :) Looking forward to my next Optics Planet purchase!

I reload a large amount of military brass that had primer's crimped in. I have been using a Dillon Super Swage to clean up the primer pockets, but still had a few issues putting primers in with both my press auto primer and my RCBS hand-held primer. I bought this tool and have had zero issues. You can get a good pace going and can feel of the primer seating every time. It's also allot easier for us people who have a touch of arthritis in the hands.

I grew tired of priming on my Redding T7. Priming with the T7 on the upstroke is a little tedious and there is no "feel" when seating primers. This 9460 primer tool is much easier, quicker, and allows excellent feel when seating primers. I wish I had purchased one years ago.
Pros:
- Ease of use
- Excellent feel when seating primers
- Much quicker than priming on a press
Cons:
- Handle overhangs the bench but is easily removed with (1) bolt.

This speeds up the process, and it makes it easier to know when the primer is properly seated. The primer drop tubes load fairly easily, and the device works well. I notice that the tubes retain in the plastic pickup jaws the last primer you pick up -- not a problem if you always use the same primers of a given size. As I use 3 different rifle primers and 2 pistol primers, I would probably benefit by having separate drop tubes for each. A broader handle -- or more padding -- would reduce the stress on my operating hand.

I have no Idea why it took me so long to buy this tool, my reloading kit came with the hand primer set up. At first that was fine then the plastic parts started slipping and the hand primer would jamb.
I started using the press for my priming and small parts started breaking ( RCBS was cool at sending me replacement parts) I found the Automatic primer set up and the rest is history!!!

This would be a great product if it had a feed like the RCBS small hand primer attached to it and 1 small modification. The tubes are a hassle and easy to damage. To mu8ch work and time as is in reloading.
