The rifle weighs 6.3lbs and with the Ruger butt stock weight at 1.6lbs total weight of 7.9lbs making it solid to shoot on the bench. Easy to install, just remove the butt stock and insert the weight or weights to tailor for your needs, put the butt stock back on and your ready to go.
