I was only missing the wrench, but once I had it, it was easy to install, and now one of my favorite shotguns. Great for close quarter work and breaching techniques. Also, turned my Mossberg shockwave into a unique piece.

Easy to install and works well with shockwave. Looks good and feels good. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good upgrade to the shockwave. Super comfortable. I didn’t care for the birds head grip very much, both in style and feel. There are some other stocks out there but this one came recommended to me by a friend.

This brace is a must if you’re having problems controlling your Shockwave or Tac-14. Before installing the brace I was doing ok accuracy wise but after a few boxes of shells the right hand was feeling it. Having the cheek rest and pistol grip greatly improves control. Installation was incredibly easy. I had to purchase a castle nut wrench to complete the install. Optics Planet has the best price AND free shipping that arrived in less than a week. Very pleased all around.

This is a great brace for the Mossberg shockwave. Large enough to be comfortable and the pistol grip is much more comfortable to hold than the raptor bird's head that comes on the shockwave stock. My only complaint is that the brace is not adjustable.

I bought a 12 ga. Mossberg 590 Shockwave SPX. It's a great firearm, but it's got a kick to it. Two years ago it didn't bother me. Then I got into an accident at work, and my wrist and two outside fingers don't work quite like they did. It was hard for me to keep control, and I thought about selling the firearm, but it's my truck gun, and it fits perfectly for that purpose. I ordered a brace after watching a few video reviews. I was concerned that the brace would add excessive length to the firearm, making it awkward to maneuver in the cab. It does add about 4 inches to the overall length, but it is not that much more difficult to move in confined areas.

Installation was quick, and easy. Other reviewers have mentioned the plastic to Metal junction of the buffer tube. This could be an easy place to cross thread. I've had the brace on and off a few times for maintenance. I had a little difficulty finding the sweet spot the first time I threaded it, but as long as I don't force anything, it usually goes fairly easily.

The brace does exactly what it is supposed to do. With this brace strapped on my bad wrist, I can handle this firearm like I still had all five fingers working. It's much more reliable, and I don't worry about the firearm jumping out of my hand any more. I suppose it's possible to fire this from the shoulder in an emergency, but the angle on it doesn't line up well, and it's gonna leave bruises if your firing high velocity shells. Received quickly, easy install, NO issue with cross threading. ran to the range in the rain and functions great, did have minor point of aim learning curve 10 slugs & 25 00 buck later I'm seriously impressed. Would definitely buy again

Arrived early in the mail and fits perfectly to the 590 Mossberg 20 gauge Shockwave. It is easy to assemble and looks great. The pieces fit well together and no issues with threading the buffer tube on to the stock. I’m looking forward to taking it to the range in the near future to try it out.

Brace kit is awesome. Well built and easy to install. Turns Shockwave into a nice, short home defense type weapon that you can actually bring to eye level if desired. Optics planet was great vendor.

I use my shockwave as a home defense weapon, this brace makes it more manageable for aiming. Easy install many videos online if you need it. Highly recommend this product if you have the mossburg shockwave.

It fit, it does exactly what I needed to stabilize a fine firearm. (Shockwave) It is easy to install, I rigged a Russian carry strap to the gun, a side saddle shell carrier, attached an Optics butt cuff with extra shells on it- and that makes a pretty good rig for a defensive tool. It's a keeper.
