Sierra .30 Caliber 180 grain Boat Tail Tipped (BTT)
This bullet projectile is my average build for my 22"to 24" LR-308 rifles. I've used the 149gr M80 ball it's FTPS is faster but I'm liking the harder hitter and longer range aspects of the heavier projectiles. The Sierra brand makes quality & constantly of their products better than mil-spec bullet's being pumped out by the millions and quality is not the best, but making my own bullet's with a projectile and powder with my choice of brass is the new standard of my qualities. Knowing what every bullet's make-up is and double checking if I'm feeling that something didn't look right, is my standards. Sierra is my brand of choice.

Cons:
- I can only wish that Sierra would make the green tips in different green colors to tell there weight differences, ie...178gr TMK, 178 TMK, ect.ect...
Best Used for:
- long range applications
- long range / precision.
