Most Helpful Positive Review SLR is top Quality
This my second SLR rail. Put simply they are excellent. Perfect machining fit and finish. The barrel nut doesn't need to be timed and the rail locks up very solid. The barrel nut is unique but it comes with the barrel nut wrench for it. Installed onto an Aero M5 upper.

Originally bought a DB-10 which was way to heavy. Sold the upper and rebuilt using this handguard and its easily one of my lightest set ups now

Great rail.

This rail is great. I was looking for a handguard for a 10 build that was ergonomic and rigid. And wouldn't require timing the barrel nut. This fits the bill perfectly. Sleek(OD is 1.65"). Mlok cuts on all 7 sides, so it's "all business"(I hate all the stupid zig-zag cuts mfrs use to stylize their rails). It mounts solid. The barrel nut is 7k series aluminum so it's strong and light. The mounting bolts/lugs are solid and the indexing piece is simple but effective. This is a good rail. Pricier than others but absolutely worth it.

Great Handguard

SLR products are always top-notch! I have them on all of my builds. I love the barrel but design that doesn’t require timing and can be installed with regular tools in needed. If you plan to use more than one of their handguards I do recommend the wrench they sell if the handguard doesn’t come with it. It just makes life easier. All in all you can’t go wrong with this handguard for the price!
