Great product ruined by one feature

The flashlight itself is very bright - in that perspective, it’s great. Super solid build as well. However, the “memory retention feature” absolutely ruins the point of this product. It comes with three modes, bright, not too bright, and strobe. You switch between these modes by pressing the tape switch or button before five seconds pass. There is no way to disable this feature, with S&W going so far as to hide the circuit in a metal shell that is impossible to access. What is the point of adding a tape switch if I have to wait five seconds to keep the same setting?

Smith & Wesson rm-20 led weapons lite

I have a lot of weapon lights on my pistols and my rifles. I judge them on how they light up my front yard. I live 250’ from the road. This lite does the trick there are a lot of more expensive lights out there but I am satisfied with this one

Broken Pressure Plate Assembly

The flashlight itself is acceptable however the pressure plate and mount are completely broken. It appears as though the spring for connection to the negative end of the batteries was never properly attached. Definitely would not purchase again. Spend a little more and get better quality.

Defective on arrival

For some reason, the pressure pad did not function. The default cap works fine, but the whole point of buying this was for the ease of use that comes with the pressure pad. Apart from being defective, it seems like a good light to have (just pray yours isn't broken like mine was).

Bright but Issues with Switch

No real directions, but waiting 5 seconds between use, will keep the light in the desired mode. Works but not simple. Remote pad failed after minor use. I have one of the single battery lights which has been OK so far.

Weapon Light

Great weapon light! Mounted up on the M Lok rail perfectly. Looks really nice, with a great finish that is durable with a clean look. My dog got the box before I did, therefore got the light before I did as well :( , however, there’s not a scratch on the finish. Defined worth the money.

The WOW factor!

I absolutely love this light. There is absolutely no complaints about the brightness, even on low. The strobe light is very effective. Don't believe me? Stand in front of a mirror and strobe yourself :) The only thing that could be a negative would be that if you do not wait approximately 3 seconds between uses, it goes to the next cycle. High to Low to Strobe. You have to cycle back through if you want the original setting. Personally i do not find this to be a problem due to it only taking a second to cycle through.

Good Mid-Range Light

The light seems to be well constructed and produces a nice beam as advertised. The mount is adequate and serves it's purpose. The light lacks the technical features of high end lights by this I mean it does not have the tap memory feature. I do not plan on using the extension light control switch as I have found that on all lights they tend to be problematic. Overall I would say for someone that is looking for a dependable light without a lot of features consider purchasing this light.

amazing perfomance in the field

I ordered this for my Smith & Wesson MP sport2 and it works like a dream couldn’t have asked for a better product the only thing that I dislike is the run time on high but that’s understandable for 900 lm light. Highly recommend it for a robust all-around heavy duty light it’s super lightweight and you can’t really tell it’s there on your weapon makes for a bright light as well

Purchased this product for my AR. Real bright and so for has passed all my expectations. Great for the price and competes well with others I have that cost a lot more. I do recommend this LED Weapon Flashlight.
