Bought the upper with a mag well adapter (glock) and heavy buffer with a spring/spacer. Easy install took all of a ten minutes. Headed to the range the next day and put over 250 rounds through it. Right out of the box. Big scratch right next to the Stern logo on the handguar. You can see where they tried to fix it with black sharpie but it sticks out bad. As well as it was packaged you would think it would of been looked over better. Have not got to use the product yet, I'm sure it will work ...

Stern is great

I was skeptical af any 9mm upper to pair with my spikes LRBHO lower. The Stern upper fit flawlessly and functions exactly as it should. It ran every type of ammunition i put in it. The blast can is fantastic at diverting the majority of the gas and noise away from you.

Feed problems

Bought this upper to mate with a dedicated Glock mag 80% lower. I have feed problems with the bullet jamming up on the barrel with most hollow point ammo. Tried changing mag manufacturer from magpul to Glock OEM with no improvement.

It does work with echo

When I call Fostech to ask if this BCG would work with there trigger they told me they didn’t know if anyone who was making bcg that worked with there platform. So I figured I would let y’all know this one does work and you DONT HAVE TO BUY THE Any other bcg than the one that comes with this upper. Even thought the silver one is prettier the one that comes with this upper works fine

  • Wish they made longer barrel options
